Well if we want to go aaaaaaall the way back, I'll add Harvard and Yale to the list as well

Sure, why not. Are they still in the top ten in wins?

Now...my question is this. What would get people on this board behind him? Playoff appearance, or nothing short of a NC? I don't think I will argue the point either way...UI just curious.

FWIW... I like CMR & think he's a good coach who's been in a tough spot since Saban, Meyer etc. hit the SEC & the arms race(that we haven't participated in until now) & money spending exploded. Now's the time for him to prove me wrong or right....

I wanna see us in the SECCG this year, It's fonkin' rediculious that Mizzou has been there the last 2 years instead of us, more so last year cause I give us a lil' bit of a pass on '13 due to injuries & Grantham....

The West is prolly down more this year than they've been since '07-'08 so I see them beating each other up...

Even tho we're breaking in a new QB, I honestly see no reason given the talent we have at OL, RB, TE, LB & DB to not believe we shouldn't win the East & have a damn good shot at winning a rematch with Bama or the boogs in the SECCG. We do that & only have 1, maybe 2 losses we could be in the playoff picture....

Same shite different year as above in '16, '17, '18, '19 etc...

I.E.... I want to see at least 2 SEC championships in the next 5 years & I'll let the playoff situation resolve itself...

That's just me & where I perceive the state of the program to be at & headed to & what CMR needs to do to keep his job...

I agree. I am a Mark Richt booster, but it is time. He is getting the coaching help, monetary help, recruiting help....everything just seems to be lining up right now. And when things do that you have to take advantage. It's time for the entire program to produce.

Also finished in the top 10 8 outta CMR's 14 years...so yea, we are.

Also has more bowl wins than Dooley.

Last years team also beat 4 outta 5 top 25 teams (only losing to GT in OT)When have we ever beat 4 top 25 teams in the same year?

I'm a Richt booster because I'm old enough to remember how much I disliked Dooley, Goff and Donnan. Dooley played boring offensive football and he owes all of his success to Herschel and Erk Russell. Goff was a complete idiot and Donnan wasn't much better.

Younger fans tend to think that it's easy to recruit a coach to deliver regular championships but it is not.

I'm thankful that I'm not a gator, vol or gamecock. Those programs are the pits.

this is actually one of my concerns. I think Tenn made a HUGE mistake firing Fulmer. UF did great with Spurrier and Meyer but not so much with Zook and Muschamp. SC has had their best run for awhile IMO and it's all downhill from here.

As long as we beat 2 out of three of our rivals and get 10 wins in the regular season, Im happy.

I dont believe that CMR will ever get it done. When the game is left in his hands he screws up time and time again. He just doesnt have it. Those that point to the "lack of commitment by our AD" are just refusing to point the finger at who it should be pointed towards. CMR hasn't won a conference title since 2005. Which is beyond inexcusable. The renewed enthusiasm is because CMR knows he wont be fired because JM just gave him a fat extension and a buyout. I will cheer as loud as I can. But at the end of the day. I just don't believe he can bring home a National Title.

100% Agree

I'm past ready for Georgia to put it all together in the same season. Other schools have done it and Georgia under Richt is past due.....10 wins only with the talent and resources of this program doesn't cut it anymore.......it's past time to win a championship.

Hell...how about we just start by beating SC? All of this 10 wins per season talk doesn't mean much if your two losses are in the SEC East...:
