Yes, Phasma is the Chrometrooper. The actress who plays her is Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones. No way they're (Phasma/Finn) related. I'd be willing to bet that Finn is able to get through to her and redeem her before Episode IX ends, though. She'll be Finn's foil throughout the trilogy.
The funny thing about all these theories is that due to the sheer magnitude of people guessing about what happens next, some of these folks are going to be right. Pretty much every eventuality will be covered by blind guesses alone, much less informed inferences.

But....this is what makes it all fun! This is entertainment at it's finest. We've all seen the movie and yet, we're still theorizing on where it's all going and foaming at the mouth to find out who's right. Thus, the tickets to Episode VIII are already sold.
The marketing tactics are strong with this brand.

Interesting. That makes me feel a little better about them making a stormtrooper a chick then.
I guess she can't be related to Fin then, being white and all, but I bet maybe she adopted him when he was an abandoned infant or something. Raised him and got him a job in sanitation with the First Order thinking she was doing what's best for him. ie Clothes on his back, Food in his belly.
THese two have a history. You'll see.

Given that the primary characteristic of cortosis is reflecting blaster bolts, I'd make cortosis Stormtrooper suits job #1.
S1CEM, I couldn't agree more! I'm like a kid in a candy store with all of the chatter and the speculation. This is the first time in mine & Mrs. Vox's relationship that a SW movie has come out, and it cracks her up to see me go nuts over something other than Georgia football.
I can't wait for TFA stuff to make its way into Battlefront. I know that the Jakku Turning Point map is there, but I want the First Order ST armor & weapons.

I want the game so bad, but just not willing to shell out for a new console. What are you playing on? Xbox, PS4 or PC?
Also, i had a question and I think someone else did, too, about how the little alien chick got Luke's lightsaber. You may recall that it was lost with his hand in Cloud City and my guess is she somehow came into possession of it from someone who bartered it or she found it mixed in with junk. My guess is that Luke still has the green one with him.
We got two YEARS to find out.

I'm playing Battlefront on the PS4. My little brother hooked me up with a BF-launch day Vader-edition PS4 as a combo birthday /Christmas present. I love that stupid game, but I'm sooo bad at it. Don't care, it's SW. There Battle of Jakku is like an Edge of Tomorrow simulator. I just die over and over again, and I queue up for the next round all the same.

In this case, I think it's more applicable to yell "Geek!". I only had a 3.33 GPA, so "Nerd" doesn't work for me.
