There's gotta be a Predator drone with his name on it. In any other universe, George Soros is a Bond villain of the highest order.

I've been pretty critical of Trump so far, but I'm not sure how you don't love this pick unless you're just a liberal that refuses bipartisanship.

The word "bipartisanship" doesn't belong anywhere near a discussion about a Supreme Court nominee.

I probably used the wrong word. I really just meant that liberals who refuse to support anything conservative will be the only ones who have an issue with this.

Its just weird and sad that we accept this farce of a Supreme Court that was never meant to act this way and have all this power over our lives.

So depressing.

The judicial branch shouldn't be partisan at all. Their job is to determine the constitutionality of laws, not legislate from the bench and create law based on personal political ideology.

It shouldn't. But it does.

We literally allow nine humans dressed in robes to continually and consistently usurp the law and make permanent decrees over our lives where they have zero right to do so.

And they're unelected and appointed for life. And we call this farce "freedom" or "Liberty"???

Give me a fricking break. Sometimes I get mad at Trump for drawing me back in to paying attention to this depressing shite show.

Totally agree....they have more power or at least it seems than the other two branches.

Progressive refusal to support has much more to do with the way moderate Garland was treated/obstructed than anything to do with Gorsuch. GOP proved court can function with 8 justices so dems feel turnabout is fair play.

PNW, if you want gainful employment in the woods, you should get into forestry where there is supply and demand that keeps you employed managing timber resources in a capitalistically renewable manner that is good for everyone.

The good old days of getting a government job and kicking your feet up for 40 years may be coming to a close, for better or worse, politically or matter of factly.

I have good friends that are teachers and they vote Dem - mostly to preserve their govt pensions and other benefits.

What they don't realize is that they need to be careful when they choose sides. In the future there just will not be enough money to go around and they'll be in line with old people needing medical care and this growing number of vocal recipients of govt benefits.

50 yr old healthy govt workers with their hands out are going to be at the end of that line. PNW and others in that boat need to be fighting for SS and Medicare reform louder than anyone.

I'm a big supporter of the parks BTW but they get cut first because you rarely see rangers rioting and burning shite.

BUMP for Recent Events

This is getting ugly. The media, dems and intel community are waging a full frontal assault on MAGA with innudendo and fake news.....while Trump and the Republicans have shown an uncanny ability to be incredibly stupid with how they handle themselves.

I've never seen anyone or any group shoot themselves in the foot so many times with such clarity and precision.

I disagree on the shoot self in foot part. RINO types are starting to fall victim to the 'Where theres smoke there's fire' fallacy.

I agree with noted commie Dennis Kucinic as stated on hannity today.

Something to the effect of 'Let's go to the mat on policy like healthcare and immigration and taxes, not feed bullshite politically motivated innuendo and leaks and deep state pan-coup intelligence operations '

Trump wasn't elected by liberals, media, or Washington deep state insiders. He was elected by everyday people and that's who he is serving: Media are so offended that he doesn't serve them.
