List of Trump's executive orders
Published January 24, 2017 FoxNews.com

Since taking office, President Trump has looked to fulfill some of his campaign promises by using executive orders. Here are the orders he has signed so far:

An order that directs federal agencies to ease the “regulatory burdens” of ObamaCare. It orders agencies to “waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation of any provision or requirement” of ObamaCare that imposes a “fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden on individuals, families, healthcare providers, health insurers, patients, recipients of healthcare services, purchasers of health insurance, or makers of medical devices, products, or medications.”

An order imposing a hiring freeze for some federal government workers as a way to shrink the size of government. This excludes the military, as Trump noted at the signing.

He signed a notice that the U.S. will begin withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. Trump called the order "a great thing for the American worker."

An order to reinstate the so-called "Mexico City Policy" – a ban on federal funds to international groups that perform abortions or lobby to legalize or promote abortion. The policy was instituted in 1984 by President Reagan, but has gone into and out of effect depending on the party in power in the White House.

Two orders reviving the Keystone XL pipeline and Dakota Access piplines. He also signed three other related orders that would: expedite the environmental permitting process for infrastructure projects related to the pipelines; direct the Commerce Department to streamline the manufacturing permitting process; and give the Commerce Department 180 days to maximize the use of U.S. steel in the pipeline.

UPDATE 1/25/2017

The Trump administration has also ordered what it called a temporary suspension of all new business activities at the the EPA, including issuing task orders or work assignments to EPA contractors. The orders were expected to have a significant and immediate impact on EPA activities nationwide.
“They’re trying to freeze things to make sure nothing happens they don’t want to have happen, so any regulations going forward, contracts, grants, hires, they want to make sure to look at them first. This may be a little wider than some previous administrations, but it’s very similar to what others have done.”

UPDATE 1/26/2017

Multi-pronged orders on border security and immigration enforcement including: the authorization of a U.S.-Mexico border wall; the stripping of federal grant money to sanctuary cities; hiring 5,000 more Border Patrol agents; ending “catch-and-release” policies for illegal immigrants; and reinstating local and state immigration enforcement partnerships

UPDATE 1/30/2017

An order to restructure the National Security Council and the Homeland Security Council.

An order to lengthen the ban on administration officials working as lobbyists. There is now a 5 year-ban on officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government, and a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

An executive order imposing a 120-day suspension of the refugee program and a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. from citizens of seven terror hot spots: Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan.

New executive order to eliminate regulations creates a regulatory budget of $0 for fiscal 2017, an official told Fox News, meaning any new "burdens" would have to be offset. The military and national security are exempt from the order. “That’s a big one,” Trump said upon signing the order.

Update 2/1/2017

Trump's move to nominate Gorsuch to Supreme Court was hailed by a range of conservative groups and Republican lawmakers late Tuesday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., called the judge an "outstanding" pick who "understands the constitutional limits on the authority of a federal judge." Trump will also get to appoint Gorsuch's replacement on the 10th Circuit.

I'll try to keep this updated similar to the recruiting thread, instead of starting topics constantly.

I voted for him for three primary reasons:

1. He pledged to nominate Constitution-respecting SCOTUS judges
2. He is not PC and lives to troll the media
3. He's not Hillary Clinton

He's already done more good than Obama did in the last 8 years. If he gets his SCOTUS nominee through, I would be fine if he went golfing for the next 8 years. But I know he won't take naps because he's a boss.

You, sir, are a great American; I don't care what your mother says about you! - - I kid, I kid!

Seriously, I was just thinking to myself that it would be nice to see a list of what he has done up to this point. Great job summarizing it!

Yep, we've had an increase, too. Our steel and aluminum prices have jumped 6%, as well.

Price doesn't matter. Mexico will be paying for it so we might as well add all the frills we want.

Put that money into infrastructure and beefing up the border patrol budget, honestly.

Even if we "make Mexico pay for it", the up-front cost will be enormous and it will be a drain on resources. Using up that much concrete, steel, and sheer manpower will drive prices through the roof, specifically for companies like mine who have a big demand for material milled in the US.

Logistically, it will be a nightmare to manage the building of it and you're talking about years before any real results are realized after the concept, design, and bidding, and procurement stages are completed. If it's going 10 ft underground as is the claim, the trenching for something like that will take the entire length of his first term. $25 Bil for that project seems dirt cheap, to me.

And the cartels will find a way around it to continue smuggling drugs and people.

i think Trump's wall will be a combination of measures used to lock down the border. The left is taking him far too literally.

But...WTH do I know? Sumbitch might actually build one.

Yeah, when he first talked about it I always thought he meant a figurative wall with advanced surveillance, additional and better supporter patrol agents, and some physical perimeter security at strategic places. However, there's been a lot of talk about a precast, brick and mortar type wall. It'll be an ugly sumbitch if they go that route.

Yea, never mind the thousands of us who rely on seasonal employment with national parks.
