No power for me in the Cornelia area, been without since Monday at 4pm. Got a message at 2am from GaPower saying my power was back on. Yet here I am in the dark still.

Their outage map is completely useless, no estimates only "Assessing Condition" for everything.

Lucky you, being right in the middle of HEMC country and having the luxury of getting power from GA Power.

I'm between Cleveland and Clarkesville and I'm going to be without power for a couple more days most likely.

Good thing my wife bought a shitload of groceries Monday before the power went out. Lol

Two of my employees had their power switched back on yesterday. Both are GP customers in Clayton proper. We're still out in Tiger. Just had someone come by and say they saw trucks in Persimmon, which is pretty out there. No real rhyme or reason.

Sun just peeked out, so that's something.

That's putting it mildly. Years ago stopped at the local convenience store for some corn to fish in the Toccoa. Stars and Bars flag out front. Bright red haired freckled couple. The wife was nursing an infant behind the counter. Weird place.

Toccoa or Tallulah?

For 99.99999% of human existence, this wasn't a weird thing.

Ok that's weird and gross. I would have just turned around and gone to the river to kick over rocks for bait. frick that.

Area around Hamilton Mill Rd in Gwinnett is still without power, including the walmart.

Family off Gresham Rd in East ATL also still without power.

GA power was not prepared for this.

They perhaps prematurely committed too many resources southward.

Seems all the EMC customers around the state are back on.

I just talked to one of my employees who is based outside of Ft. Lauderdale, she had power restored yesterday.

GaPower currently estimating that I'll get power restored on Sunday at 10pm.

I was all over ATL visiting some jobs today and saw some trees down, but everything seemed normal.
