Power still off in SE Gwinnett.
Walton EMC customers in the neighborhood had power restored last night.
GAPower customers still down, coming up on 24 hours.

Been without power since 10 pm Sunday night. It's been fine til today. It's heating up and the wind has stopped

Wow, we really got lucky in Kennesaw. Power stayed on the whole time and the worst we got was a small roof leak. Had to run out to Home Depot in the thick of it at 5pm yesterday and get some of that hardcore asphalt patch goop that you use for roofing emergencies. Climbed up into the attic and slathered that crud on.

Beach... I know it's also a hurricane magnet, but it doesn't flood every time it rains at least. Plus, not many Yankees.

Damn, that sucks! Glad you finally got your power back.
I am in SE Gwinnett too, but have Walton EMC servicing our house. We were MAYBE down for a total of 2 hours yesterday during 3 short outages. By 7 PM we were good to go with no issues since.

Be thankful. South Ga still has power outages....running on 36+ hours and a big mess. God bless those guys out working to get everyone going again.

Coming up on 30 hours up here in Rabun County. My parents and in-laws, all in Habersham, really got wholloped by this thing, though they didn't lose power until last night.
