If you want to earn some $ and have a little free time on your hands I sure wouldn't mind it if you wanted to throw a few boards up on our windows down there. I doubt I'll be able to get down there in time to handle it. Hollar at me tomorrow when you get off the water and we can see if we can work something out.
Stay safe down there buddy.

You can't coach that kind of class. That's God-given talent right there.

full retard mode here in Camden...if I leave it will be Saturday....I will go to Carrollton or Newnan...have family in both places.
yeah the water thing is dumb...we have been using the fridge water and filling up our empty bottles....gas is an issue though...I filled up both vehicles yesterday...my exit is full of South Floridians right now. they are sucking all the gas up before they head farther north.
fwiw...the new model does have it coming right through here Sunday/Monday as at least a Cat 3

Wonder if that is worth leaving for. Live just north of Savannah.
Both vehicles are gassed up. Enough water for a while and filling more. Got a bug out bag if need be. Fookin dog.

Looks like it's coming right at Columbia but should have calmed down some by then. Cabinets are full - I just hope we don't lose power for an extended time or I'll be having one hell of a barbecue.

I'm in Ardsley Park - midtown, where it does floor sometime. We had 0 flooding during Matthew (I stayed). I've seen projections that Irma will be a 3 goiing up the coast of FLA and a 1 by the time it reaches south Georgia Tuesday at 1AM. We've got reservations in Perry - may stay and send the rest of the fam. to middle GA.
Defintely staying if its a 1

If this thing gets back over water and strengthens before getting to the GA/SC line it's going to be a big damn deal. Look at these storm surge numbers:
