Went to a Nike football clinic in Vegas about 8 years or so ago. The guy giving the session I was in was drawing up a naked bootleg. When I asked what to do with the DE he said my quarterback had to be a better athlete than the DE. Our QB was very "white" that year. I laughed and went back to the casino.

How bout you stating the offense last year would have been "much much better" under Schotty (perhaps your most absurd analysis you've ever made)

Just a simple misunderstanding on your part. I said our 2015 O would produce better if it had better players (like Mason, Conley, Andrews, Gurley, Chubb, Bennett) to work with and an easier schedule to play against. Both talent level and schedule difficulty are full of substance.

How bout blaming Bobo for this years offensive woes?

He is responsible for the talent on our current offensive roster and also for QB development, is he not? Both talent and QB play are full of substance.

How bout blaming Bobo for "lack of sustained drives" vs Bama?

I asked you to tell me more about this idea, and you never did. Are you saying that sustained offensive drives are not important?

No one is going to call out someone for messing up an assignment to the media.... That I know.

You are incorrect in stating that a naked bootleg requires the DE to go unblocked. It certainly can be, but not a requirement.

Fair enough and I agree.

The only thing worth arguing is the play design... Which is flawed in my opinion by the way it was executed at least... That leads me to think there was a bust somewhere... And no one is going to call out the bust...

You could be right as its possible the RT was supposed to engage the DE. I am sure Mason could have done a better fake and we agree that a fake toss isnt the best way to pull that play off.

People run various forms of waggles, counters and boots inside the 5 at college and pro levels with regularity. It is easy to second guess play calling...especially when it doesn't work. You have all the proof and none of the exposure...

They do, but not everyone has a Todd Gurley to hand the ball off to, a slow panicky QB to use, and they may have already been stuffed on goal line plays before. Its easier to 2nd guess when the other option is such a good one, and it seems like you would have made the same play call I would have, so we agree on that.
