My only I very similar to yours. I hate how we went about adding new seats. We put our emphasis in adding a ton of swats quickly and that's why a lot are shitty seats. Much rather would have had a 95k stadium with more premium seating

Upper North Zone are the worst seats in the house and they were there before we renovated.

We added a lot of much better seats.

This whole suite question is silly to me. Most can't afford them.

Eh, we threw up a new end zone structure putting in as many seats as we could. We should have focused on putting in the most premium seating in all of football instead. That's where everything is moving towards

I think our student section eating up so much space (a good thing) aids our case for having a mammoth stadium.

How does our suite capacity compare to other sec schools?

This was because you couldn't see a good portion of the north end zone from the top of the zone. That isn't the case anymore now that they have moved the field south and the sightline is no longer obscured.

The south end zone seats aren't any or worse than the north end zone seats. The issue isn't that we added worse seats, it's that we have now have the second highest number of end zone seats in the country behind only Nebraska.

The fact of the matter is that end zone seats, especially in the upper deck, just aren't very desirable. You are effectively removed from the stadium atmosphere up there and you find yourself watching the screens more than the field because your depth perception is fricked up and you can't tell a five yard gain from a nine yard gain.

I think cutting the south upper deck by 5-8k seats would have been a better option. We'll have empty corner section for most games.

Arkansas, LSU, Bama and Ole Miss all have more suite seating than we do.

No way OM has more than us. I don't think Ark or Bama does either but I don't know for sure.

If true, that's disgraceful.

Arkansas has the highest number of suites in the SEC at 132, it surprised me to. Ole Miss has a very high percentage of suite seats, half the north endzone and the entire lower level of the press box are suites:

suite seating =/ # of suites.

And suite suiting isn't the end all be all. The quality of the suites matter too. If we can charge 500K per suites and OM can charge 50K per then I don't think it matters.

That's true. I imagine our suites are commanding more $ than most any other sec team not named bama

Man that place is looking spiffy. Can't stop geeking out over it

Side note: does anyone else besides me find themselves taking an extra second or two to figure out which way is north or south when looking at Kyle now? Used to be easy, just look for the horseshoe or the Zone, but now I get thrown for a hot sec every now and then

Yup! The Orgasmatron video board is a good clue, as is "Home of the 12th man" on the east and "Welcome to Aggieland" on the west. And not a damn one of those are visible in this pic.

Look east/west, not north/south.
