Chavis is a fine DC. Top notch even. But honestly there are a lot of guys just like him around that don't have the talent, staff, resources, or consistency he has. You literally couldn't design a more optimal situation to walk into as a coach.
And if you honestly ranked SECW DCs this year, he'd be 4th and two of the three below him got fired. I think Ags overrate him immensely because he has a great secondary and gives us fits.

Looch just put out a piece saying Muschamp is still in play and put the odds 60/40 in favor of Auburn over us.
He also said Venables and Foster are the next two on the list and it won't go past them in the search.

I don't know what Boom's mindset is, but no matter how much I enjoyed my time at Auburn I'd be very uncomfortable recruiting in the same areas as my previous gig. That just seems like a whole bunch of nastiness waiting to happen.
