I doubt he gets punished. He'll be judged by a completely different set of rules because of his color and the "need" for black coaches.
It's not right for us to judge him because his culture is different....

I've seen my share of coach rationalizations. From A&M fans convincing themselves that Fran, Sherman, and Sumlin where the ones. Heck, we even do that to a degree with Jimbo. I've watched Texas fans do the same with Charlie, Herman, Sark, and every leftover assistant they've hired.
