That maybe true. . .but you don't think he is going to say, "My girlfriend and her Mom make my life decisions for me."

I think he went to Bama for many reasons. But I think the biggest reason is the girl, and by a large margin.

Buddy, check the history. Not sure who you confused me with, but I was never arguing with you about Collins picking the "wrong school." Try keeping up.

Alabama is inarguably the number one program in the country. Call it an opinion, call it a fact.

I'll call it what it actually is: an opinion. No one says you don't have strong facts to back up this opinion, but good Lord, learn the difference.

And if you believe the difference between a fact and an opinion is semantics, then God bless your poor, uneducated soul.

Kind of an unorthodox thing to claim a moral victory over but if it makes you feel better about my degree being from a better school than yours, 21-0, and Collins going to Bama, then have at it, buddy.

I didn't go to LSU, and I'm willing to bet I'm more educated than you, if we're venturing down that path now. You turned this into a "facts vs. opinions" argument, and you lost.

Enjoy your free education for the day.

Toodles, friend.

I would say that you made the argument facts v. opinions. Hyperbole is part of the message board scene. You made that the issue, because you don't like the facts in this thread.

Being 1-1 vs. LSU this year......3-3 vs. Miles in his career.....claiming more NC's than they really should.....sooo many NCAA infractions and cheating to mention......a fanbase that sometimes is just plain "over the top" (see Updyke, Teabagger, etc).....being mediocre in education (as per the National Average).....etc

Does not make you the undeniable #1 my friend.

Bama has a great football program.....was VERY fortunate that Saban sucked in the NFL and had there coaching job fall in his lap....and has made a nice run the last 5 years.

Congrats......that's the facts

No go back to having your arse up Saban's arse!

Regardless of how you count, we have the most championships of any school. And have won two of the last 3. I would say that makes us the undeniable #1.

I agree, we were fortunate that Saban wanted to coach here; I've repeatedly said he's the greatest coach in sports today. I won't argue against you there.

1-1 vs. LSU this year, lol. Good luck getting over it in the future.

Back to the topic at hand: I'd imagine Landon is feeling pretty good about his decision at this point.

I know girls that made me do some stupid shite back in my day.

Good for Landon that the girlfriend didn't lead his arse to some shite hole like one of the Mississippi schools. At least she lead him to a place he can succeed at the highest level.

Yes it did.........

Just as Nov. 5th did to much of your fanbase.

Yes, I hate Bama and can't wait for the fall.....history says it will happen sooner than later.

Having said this......It's all in fun.

I am from La. and a huge Bama fan. I have seen the way this state has acted towards Collins decision and it disgust me. When people ask me why I don't care for LSU, I wish i could bottle up the last 4 weeks and open it. I think that if Collins signs, this might be the best recruiting job Nick Saban has ever done. It has also impressed me so much how Bama fans have handled themselves with the families comments despite what i have seen LSU fans do to try and keep him. No matter how it ends up tomorrow with Collins, we have a lot to be proud of. RTR

I heard Bama fans ripping his mother and calling her all kinds of names.

He's a defensive back going to play for Nick Saban at the peak of his career for a team that blew out LSU in the biggest game in school history a couple weeks ago and at an institution more highly rated academically than LSU as well.

Among SEC football teams, only Vanderbilt and Georgia graduate a higher percentage of players than LSU.
