I am from La. and a huge Bama fan. I have seen the way this state has acted towards Collins decision and it disgust me. When people ask me why I don't care for LSU, I wish i could bottle up the last 4 weeks and open it. I think that if Collins signs, this might be the best recruiting job Nick Saban has ever done. It has also impressed me so much how Bama fans have handled themselves with the families comments despite what i have seen LSU fans do to try and keep him. No matter how it ends up tomorrow with Collins, we have a lot to be proud of. RTR

Yeah calling his mom a bitch is SO much better than calling his GF a bitch.

A handful from both fanbases acted like asses.

Knowing Bama and how they like to claim titles (ficticious and otherwise) they will be available soon.

No I think he over generalized by

1. Grouping the LSU fanbase as a single entity based on a actions of a small percentage.
2. Not acknowledging the faults of a handful of his own fanbase that handled the Ms. Justin's outcry in an inappropriate manner.

Every state has their idiots and pervs.

Hey, the truth hurts! Im not trying to start anything, but everything i said is a fact. They have got people on the LSU board thanking his mom for starting trouble with her son. What is wrong with some of these people.

How? I'm perfectly fine. You have bama boards calling his mom a crazy bitch.

Pot meet kettle.

How hard is it to admit that neither fanbase as a whole isn't 100% innocent? Both have idiots that handled it poorly.

No it isn't. LC is going to Bama because of his girlfriend. That is it. Not that Bama isn't good or worthy but the fact is if his girlfriend went to LSU that's where LC would be. Same as Russell Shepard a few years ago. NS has done much better than LC when it comes to recruiting

There was that big Luther Davis coup a while back.

And the Darrington Sentimore snag.

Seriously though, this is probably the biggest coup of Saban's career.

I'll bet you were really proud of the Bama Teabagging incident, or better yet when that YouTube of the guy watching Bama/VaTech a few years back to start the year.

You know the guy I'm talking about...the one who was busy cheering for Alabama's black guys but dropping the "Poor little N-Bomb" who got hurt and ended up being out for the season for Virginia Tech.

I love it when people express righteous indignation about one side of a coin while blatantly ignoring the other side of it. Your blind ignorance knows no bounds, Yankeeman.

You mean this guy??

Rick Rants--
Just the exception, does not represent Alabama anymore than Tbag Guy and the folks with him, Updyke and the folks supporting him, I Hate Auburn Tshirt Guy at Media Days, Bama fans booing Auburn Long Snapper at FCA breakfast, Message Board Posters who spew hate toward Auburn, Fbaum Callers, Alabama socialite Gay Talese on BSPN Special....

These FANS are NOT the exception that Bama fans wants you to think they are.

I hear you Trey. Collins said himself he wanted to go to bama since his first visit in 2010 when we beat Florida at home. It's ok though, whatever helps them get over it. He made a choice that was best for him, and LSU wasn't it. LSU will still have a great class, but the sad part is that some fans just can't get out of there head that the #1 and #2 prospects in the state are probably leaving for Bama. Let it go. Case closed.
