Still doesn't refute the fact that Saban will be sub-500 vs. Miles come November.
What else does your crystal ball tell you? Does Barry Obamz get re-elected? What kinda music will people listen to in 10 years? Whats the deal with flying cars?

Spoken like a TRUE Gump hypocrite.....there were stupid Bammer fans on THIS site calling the Mom an idiot.
Get over yourself and your skewed view of Bama fans "handling" themselves gracefully.
You wanna see funny...just wait til Saban leaves Bama.
And I sincerely can't wait to get Bama in TS next season..

Congrats......you won the rematch and it was the NC. Be thankful for even having the chance as the 3rd most deserving team.

With a mother like his, you do whatever it takes to keep her off your arse for as long as you can. Hell, I'm surprised the dude hasn't been wearing P&G clothing all along just to zip her lip.
So what was he going to do when he eventually picked Bama? It was going to come out some time. Why would he even gets her hopes up?
If he "knew for 2 years," he should have just chosen early and lived with the backlash of his mother, which would undoubtedly been less than it is now.

It wouldn't have kept LSU from recruiting him just as hard, and people are entitled to keep their options open. Just because you think you know you want to marry a girl after a date doesn't mean you shouldn't date her before getting engaged.

There's only one truth, and only LC, his mom + dad, and his girlfriend/entourage know it. It really doesn't matter what everyone says. 10 years ago before message boards, he would have just committed - even if all the allegations are truth - and we'd never know about it.
My guess is LC would most like have gone to Bama with or without the girlfriend. But the GF apparently got very publicly involved and it looked like she was steering LC to Bama. Then when momma saw this, she did the Big Disagreement.
Look, no mother wants to marginalized by an outsider, much less a girlfriend. A powerful defense mechanism kicked in. I mean, LC has a right to do where he wants, but it does look like the whole thing could have been managed differently with the same outcome.
So that's that. We'll see how it all turns out in a few years.

True. I never stated LSU would stop recruiting or that people aren't entitled to keep their options open. In fact, I would be pissed if LSU stopped recruiting a 5* within the state of Louisiana.
That doesn't change the facts of what happened. If he was so dead-set on going to Bama for two years, he never made that known to the coaches and staff at LSU before Jan. 9th. According to most people, that seems a little low, but to each his own.
I would venture to guess that Alabama fans and their coaching staff would not appreciate spending copious amounts of time and energy into recruiting someone whose college choice was made two years ago.
It wasn't really the decision, but how it was made. It will be over tomorrow, and I'm glad for that.

I'm admittedly open minded about recruiting. I assume coaches know the risks, and the process, and while I like for people to stay in state, I don't get mad when they decide to go somewhere else. The kids are 17- 18, and it's not my life. Ultimately, it's his decision, and given the mean spirited responses, I probably would have waited as long as I could to avoid mean people saying ugly things to me in my home state.

quote:Chose the wrong school? He's going to the number 1 program in the country, which has won 2 crystal balls since LSU's last one. He's part of the best recruiting class in the country and is a defensive back going to play for Nick Saban at the peak of his career. The wrong school? lol.
he just chose the wrong school and hopefully we show him why the next 4 years.
Besides the fact that Bama has been belching first round picks in recent years, Nick Saban is the most revered disciplinarian in organized sport today, possibly of all time. She should be glad that her son has chosen to play for such a man of character.

shhhh...it never fails.
And I stand by what I said. In fact, it might go beyond the realm of sports. He's the most impressive disciplinarian I have seen in my lifetime, period.
