I hear you Trey. Collins said himself he wanted to go to bama since his first visit in 2010 when we beat Florida at home. It's ok though, whatever helps them get over it. He made a choice that was best for him, and LSU wasn't it. LSU will still have a great class, but the sad part is that some fans just can't get out of there head that the #1 and #2 prospects in the state are probably leaving for Bama. Let it go. Case closed.
You're the Only one making a big deal of it still.

Dude...it's Jan 2012 and you have a wish list of high school kids for next year?

Alabama will be half way done with the 2013 class by April. They already have 7 commitments. Hell, two on that list are already committed, with a third imminent. With recruiting covererage the way it is now, it doesn't take much research to know about the top prospects for 2014.

Bama doesn't screw around. Two on that wishlist have already verbally committed to Alabama; and one other is considered a heavy lean.

I love this. LSU fans have completely ignored what the kid has said. Its like they all have their own narrative.
Ever heard of the phrase, "actions speak louder than words"? Yes, he said that we has wanted to attend Bama for two years now, but he extended his recruiting until Jan. 9th, and even some people think it's still on going.
His words aside, you don't visit a different school multiple times if another school is and has been your solid choice for 2 years. Now do you understand?

I am from La. and a huge Bama fan. I have seen the way this state has acted towards Collins decision and it disgust me. When people ask me why I don't care for LSU, I wish i could bottle up the last 4 weeks and open it. I think that if Collins signs, this might be the best recruiting job Nick Saban has ever done. It has also impressed me so much how Bama fans have handled themselves with the families comments despite what i have seen LSU fans do to try and keep him. No matter how it ends up tomorrow with Collins, we have a lot to be proud of. RTR
Spoken like a TRUE Gump hypocrite.....there were stupid Bammer fans on THIS site calling the Mom an idiot.
Get over yourself and your skewed view of Bama fans "handling" themselves gracefully.
You wanna see funny...just wait til Saban leaves Bama.
And I sincerely can't wait to get Bama in TS next season.......

We happen to be one of the very few who beats him as much as he beats us.......
The FUNNY part will be the Gump meltdown.....I just hope it's for another program and not because he's burnt out of the Gump fanbase and leaves football for good.
Getting caught with some illegal recruiting or something would be ok too....

With a mother like his, you do whatever it takes to keep her off your arse for as long as you can. Hell, I'm surprised the dude hasn't been wearing P&G clothing all along just to zip her lip.

The Mom wants what's best for her son...and not for him to be making decisions influenced by a gold-digging Mom and her daughter. I wish LC the best.......he just chose the wrong school and hopefully we show him why the next 4 years.

Still doesn't refute the fact that Saban will be sub-500 vs. Miles come November.
But carry on........
