Because it takes so many words to explain an opinion that is based off of unbiased assumptions because yall cant take any negative comment as anything other than bias rivalry. All I did was repeat what AJ said in regards to Simmons recruitment and you say this...
quote:

Everyone knows he hates it, he just has no choice. Even Reverend Freeze cannot liberate AJ from the Scientologist Dan Mullen.

take your butthurtness out of it and it doesnt go 6 pages. Whats even worse, is the butthurtness came straight from the kid's mouth, it isnt us saying, he wants to leave Starkville, he said it.

No, you started name calling, just like you always do when everyone doesn't agree with you.

and you say this...

I resorted to a joke because having a serious conversation with you is unattainable.

No, take out Ole Miss and Tennessee fans bickering about Drew fricking Richmond in every thread and it doesn't go 6 pages. Then take out you and skirps same stupid conversation that has been had on here 231584634 times and it doesn't go 6 pages.

Then maybe we can have a conversation about the kid that is actually in the title, but lets be serious, that's not going to happen in a thread with you in it.

Sources are telling me Millsaps has entered the picture. And the picture is now a Jackson Pollack painting.

You are blowing the "doesn't like Starkville" thing way out of proportion. These kids are going to play football. They are going to have a hell of a time no matter where they go. If they cared so much about the town, they would all be in Athens or Austin. If AJ ends up at State it will be because playing for State was more important than "getting out of Starkville".

If the town was a big factor, do you really think Treadwell would have left Chicago to move to Oxford, MS? You can talk about how bad Starkville is all you want, but when it comes to SEC schools, you are right there in the bottom with us. We have beautiful campuses and I loved my time at State, but neither you or us holds a candle when it comes to the better college towns. We are comparing ramen noodles to Vienna sausage. Both have their perks and will get you by, but even their redeeming qualities don't measure up to a filet.

ETA: Really struggled finding somewhere to put a shitty analogy today.

Oxford at the bottom with Starkville??? That's funny. Starkville has the perception as being possibly the worst town in not only the sec but all of college football. You know this deep down. I like the Mississippi State people but the town offers nothing.

I'm going to let you in on a secret. Every town in Mississippi sucks. Starkville and Oxford both have the benefits of decent bars, and good food. That just isn't even close to enough to catch us up to Athens, Gainesville, Fayetteville, or College Station. Not even enough to get us in the same category with our runners up, for worst towns in a state, at Auburn or Tuscaloosa.

Starkville has a population of 23,888. Oxford is at 21,757. Just not enough resources. You don't go to work in either when you graduate, that's the issue. Both of these towns need industry.
