Guys with year -long commitments to other programs are all of a sudden switching to bama in the middle of the dead period? Ridiculous! Nick's good, but he ain't that damn good. I really hope all these other programs are comparing notes and building a case on this because this definitely feels like auburn 2010. The level of greed with these alabama programs is really, really sad.

Everytime Auburn gets a big commit, the Bama fans want an investigation into payments and cars and jobs for the recruit's parents, and it comes off as jealousy and uneducated foolishness from some overzealous Tide fans. Now we have recruits switching to Bama and the same Tide fans believe their program is squeaky clean.

I just think both programs have done a really good job of recruiting, but it is fun to watch them lobbing volleys at each other from their respective glass houses. Neither can bring themselves to admit that the other school can get a commitment both schools want without something illegal. Truth is, if that "other" school in state is cheating, then your school must be cheating, too. No other way to explain the relative strength of recuiting by both schools over the last few years.

It's Alabama + Saban, dude. The game changed January 3, 2007.

Yeah, let's see a link to that. It's the AU fans who throw around accusations of cars and jobs and hire people to dig through the goddamn trashcans.

Last I checked, it was the Auburn ITAT crowd that was running "Operation Reddog", in taking shady pictures of Alabama commits through hedge rows and illegally using the DMV to run license plate numbers.

The Scam thing was a little different because there was rampant speculation across the country, not just from Bama fans. Obviously no proof has come of it and Bama fans have moved on. Sure, some people will accuse them of paying any good recruit that decides to go there but the vast majority of both fanbases don't really believe that. It's the idiots who use the internet mouthpiece to make audacious claims that give the rest of us a bad name.

aban makes men of character out of his players and develops them to their full potential.* Parents know that if they send their sons to play for Coach Saban instead of places like Auburn and FSU, they will be held to a higher standard and develop to their full potential.* It's why he's one of the most revered disciplinarians in the business.

* as a football player. Clause two of the contract to gain a scholarship at the University of Alabama stipulates that all whose playing potential were wrongly evaluated or fell out of favor due to some other discretion will be summarily kicked to the curb to make room for further "potential".

There, I fixed it for ya.

You know how you can tell when a coach really cares about the actual person and not the player? It is when you hear him give thanks that he has been able to be in a program long enough to see his seniors grow up and graduate, and then he names guys that have contributed some and others who really never made it onto the arena floor for meaningful minutes. I have never heard Saban talk about any player other than his star players and only those when there is a reason- like a Heisman campaign or recruiting. So yeah, he may be a disciplinarian, and he certainly is a great football coach, but let's be honest here. He doesn't give a shite for anyone outside the process.

AC/DC said it best-Money Talks. NCAA totally cleared Cam and Auburn. Let's see if they do the same with TJ and Alabama. Rumor has it he cost them $200,000, a Dodge Charger, and a lifetime's supply of suits from TTown Menswear.

You sir, are an idiot

Simply go to the Scout Bama Board and scroll through the pages. Geez, it's not that difficult. Not so evolved after all?
