Not really. We just haven't had a kicker pan out. Maybe that's on Bobby Williams, maybe it's not, but kick/punt coverage units are littered with similar guys for both Alabama and LSU.

Even at LSU we suffered in kicking woes under saban. I think Chris sailor hates him

Saban makes men of character out of his players and develops them to their full potential. Parents know that if they send their sons to play for Coach Saban instead of places like Auburn and FSU, they will be held to a higher standard and develop to their full potential. It's why he's one of the most revered disciplinarians in the business.

I think Sailer is too soft in his evaluations of kickers, he's been in their shoes and he knows his word carries weight, so he doesn't want to sink a prospect's chance of a scholarship.

I don't think he can separate his emotions from his job...

Sitting players for Georgia southern was great discipline. He's no different than most when it comes to discipline.

You sound bitter memphis. The evidence speaks for itself. Just look at all these players we've flipped during the dead period.

What in the blue hell does that have to do with discipline?

No one is denying his recruiting prowess.

Your buddy here was asking how we've flipped this crazy number of recruits since the dead period started. (1 total.) I was explaining why is all.

Guys with year -long commitments to other programs are all of a sudden switching to bama in the middle of the dead period? Ridiculous! Nick's good, but he ain't that damn good. I really hope all these other programs are comparing notes and building a case on this because this definitely feels like auburn 2010. The level of greed with these alabama programs is really, really sad.

You can't possibly know anything about college football and post this kind of crap.

Notice that in the grand scheme of things, there is a bell curve of human intellect. While you may think you are in that upper 5%, only 5% of us are in that group. People who make posts like yours and then try to put them on 2 boards for everyone to see are somewhere left of the middle. And yes... there is a 5% there too.

They see the dynasty will be ongoing. I mean, heck... we manipulated the system to play in the BCS game already this season. You think we won't be back in another year or two playing for yet another? Quality players want to play for a winner.

Alabama has always been able to recruit.. they have players winning awards (Heisman, etc.), they are winning Championships (1 SEC in 5 years), but second BCS in three years, they work very hard, they prepare folks for the NFL, they have wonderful facilities and yes they have people who help them... In the words of some Bama cruits "I want to thank Alabama for all they have done for me and my family" No tin foil hats, Bama knows what they are doing.

I'd say sitting two seniors on "Senior Day" was a solid punishment for whatever team rules they broke.

When is the last time lsu didnt have an excellent kicker, punter, and return man?
Not having a good kicker is a major part of STs.
