Thank you for making my point.

I just like saying Highly Touted.

A&M is drunk with one year of SEC moderate success, I remember my first season too.

LSU is getting who they want out of Texas

For some reason, Les Miles' LSU Tigers are either ignoring Texas High School Football, or they are losing out big time.

Last year LSU signed zero players out of Texas, while Urban Meyer's Ohio St. Buckeyes took the #1 5-star Texas recruit, plus two more 4-star recruits--Wow!

LSU should be on Texas talent like white on rice every year, but they aren't.

Why do you think that is?

Saban did better last year with a 5-star DT, and 4-star DB.

Oklahoma got three 4-stars, and UCLA got 2 4-stars.

LSU better wake up ant start hitting Texas like it was they backyard.

Jalen Mills-DeSoto, Texas

Corey Thompson-Missouri City, Texas

The 2014 class out of LA is looking to be one of the deepest ever, and the 2013 LA class was pretty deep itself. Why heavily recruit Texas when you can sign 20+ quality players from your own state.

As long as LSU fills its needs WGAF what state they are from? The top players from LA are just as good as the top players from TX, Texas just has more.

Sheetbend the LSU fans are right.

Louisiana is loaded with great players.

A&M has recruited some lesser rated players from Louisiana and almost every one of them turns out to be studs.

Sidewalker - the point is that a nationally recruited QB choose College Station. This never happens. Hopefully he will be great, but if not that doesnt change the point Im making. A&M is now getting National as well as Texas attention. That is a big deal. The Log Jam we have at QB is obscene.

Matt Davis, who A&M pulled over Bama btw is fighting for #2 but many think Kenny Hill will be polished enough as a fresh. Now Allen. My point is there is a shift going on - whether or not it continues or builds up to the level of competing for SEC is yet to be seen. But to look at it as Aggies simply excited about one year is shortsighted .

I am a realist. Hell A&Ms D could be so down we dont do squat - or D could come around and we make a run.

Im talking about the next few years. SEC elite depth or not.

LSU only took 12 players from Louisiana last year, and took 14 recruits from out of state last year, but none from Texas.

I find that strange. How do you ignore that much talent in a border state? Just seemed strange to me.

History says no.

A&M dominated LSU for several years in the 90's.

A&M beat Alabama at Tuscalossa, and will beat them again this year in College Station.

A&M will beat LSU in Baton Rouge this year.

A&M is the ONLY SEC school in Texas, which has an enormous recruiting base that neither Louisana nor Alabama can match - combined.

Like it or not, A&M will be competing for the top of the SEC for decades to come.

There was no one in Texas we truley wanted, aside from RSJ. Doesn't mean LSU can't get recruits out of Texas, this next class, we have the best defensive players from Texas heading to LSU.

A lesser team beating a superior team is an upset...

This is just wrong.... LSU was ranked #6 at the time, A&M #18. So it would be the other way around. After the Alabama game, our season went to shite, players gave up, feeling like there was nothing to play for. You can thank Les for the Clemson loss. If A&M was so much better, they would have beaten LSU on your home field. I don't want to hear turnover excuses. LSU gave you breaks all day with the anemic offense. Defense is also part of the game btw, if mett aactually completes some some of the wide open passes, the game could have been much worse!!

The answer is yes, it could happen, but is it likely, no. Truth is, everyone has down times, so it depends on what you mean by year in and year out.

You will never be dominate, if that helps.
