Vols win out.
Auburn upsets Bama in Iron Bowl
Thinks they have SEC locked up and is still thinking about Bama and doesn't take SEC title game seriously. (2001 SEC Title game flashbacks)
TN comes in fresh with Kamara, Sutton, DK Jr ect back healthy and pulls off the upset.
Gets even healthier and wins Sugar Bowl.
Butch wins SEC Coach of the year!

He still deserves at least one more year, after this one.
It's not like Florida has been Bad. They won the east and may win it again. The guy was left with nearly zero offensive talent. He's a no less than four year guy. If not, Florida needs to officially replace Texas as the dumbest, most impatient fans.

If the Bama coach who follows Saban brings in 3 consecutive recruiting classes outside the top 10 and is 1-5 against ranked teams will the Bama fanbase be patient and talk about how he needs 4 years?

Wouldn't blink n eye, y'all offense looks like a pee wee team

I'm hoping that Muschamp ruin's UF's program, twice.

If he tanks the remainder of the season ( a distinct possibility) he is on a short leash.....very short.

Who is this QB again?

Considering he's won with Harris (a slot receiver playing quarterback) and Del Rio who apparently is god awful, I'm surprised we have the best record in the East.
Has he defeated a top 15 team yet?

No outside of Meyers first to two years, WM and one SOS uf has killed VU. Mac is an awful head coach and is the offensive version of WM without the recruiting ability
Posted on 11/7/16 at 4:08 pm to CCTider
We've been terrible. The offense is made up of all his recruits except for Sharpe and Goolsby and Lewis. The east is utter garbage. You want to see the difference in how to run a program?
Our program will be in worse shape when Mac is fired next year midseason. All you Bama fans who said he was a HR hire can gfy. Another saban tree failure
quote:
There has been no significant improvement in offense, and the defense has regressed. He's signed 39 3*s regardless. We're #91 in total offense in Mac's 2nd year with the easiest SOS in the SEC! Does Harbaugh 2015 class not count? The one that finished below us. He's 19-3, 4-1 vs the top 25, has top 10 classes and is destroying his competition. He's taken a team that was 5-7 the year before he got there and has them rolling on and off the field. What's Mac excuse? Harbaugh destroyed UF with a grad transfer QB. The difference is one can manage and coach a team and the other cannot.
Michigan 2014 with Nuss
#115 in total offense and #111 in ppg
2015
#50 scoring offense #69 in total offense
2016
#3 scoring offense #20 in total offense.
UF:
2016:
#76 scoring offense #91 in total offense.
2015:
#100 in ppg #112 in total offense
2014:
#56 scoring offense, #96 in total offense
Harbaugh started with just as big of a mess than Mac and is killing it and his team has improved greatly in recruiting and play every year

what has he won with Harris? Harris' record as a starter last year was 4-4, with an OT win against FAU, a 10 point win against USC, a 9-7 win against Vandy, and win against UGA where Harris went 8/19 for 155 yards. Had Harris started the entire season. Florida doesn't win the East last year.

What team would win their division with the backup QB??
Posted on 11/7/16 at 4:31 pm to StrawsDrawnAtRandom
This depends on the buy out and who we can get. It also depends on how the teams finishes. If they lose to USCe someone needs to be fired after the game.

I didn't say many would, but the poster I responded to was acting like McElwain had no problem winning with Harris as starter, when in reality, Florida won with Grier and managed to hold onto to the East, barely, despite Harris being awful, not to mention the East was a dumpster fire last year too. Florida did not attain the best record in the East with Harris starting. Their big wins against Ole Miss and Tennessee came with Grier starting

Through 8 games, not counting the scrimmage against Tennessee Tech, Botch has yet to get his team to play a complete four quarters.

It's simply not fair if Florida gets a new coach before Tennessee.

Gator fans are insufferable sometimes. Mac isnt going to be here for a while. He hasnt squander a season yet...and I say yet. I know the east is down but we ARE in first fricking place.
Our lack of a run game is the real problem....others tell you its the QB and I beg to differ....if you cant run...QB cant throw while prone on the ground. I understood why we were 13th in the SEC last year in rushing the ball...totally makeshift OL with three true frosh starting/playing...I did expect to see improvement in our run game and we are headed back to 11th-13th in rushing again in the SEC. Mac made lemonade out of sewer water last year with the stat of 13th in rushing....but mainly with Muschamps defense bailing us out time and again...this year we still have Muschamps defense for the most part but they will all be gone soon.
The OL HAS to produce and get off their fat azz and block for crying out loud. Johnny Unitas (most of you arent old enough to know how fricking good he was), Dan Marino (best pure passer ever with the quickest release) and any other fantasy QB cant help if the OL doesnt create some run game.
