I can't think of a bigger one than that. We would've had Bowden in his prime.

Also, I don't know who all was in the running when we made Dubose the HC, but that dad blame fax campaign was devastating.

I really didn't pay attention to LSU football until around 01-02. I was pretty young so I don't even remember it that well but some of the older LSU fans like my dads friends say we had some blunders.

Fred Pancoast over Bill Parcells. Parcells was DC under Sloan, wanted job when Sloan left. Pancoast was at Memphis at the time, thought to be the better choice. We see how that worked out.

The wonder child Fat Bradstard Scott when he came out of FSU as the offensive coordinator the year when FSU won the MNC with Charlie Ward winning the Heisman.

Brad Scott almost completely ruined SCAR football for life. It was a total catastrophe. He was so far over his head trying to coach in the SEC that it was the most monumental flop in conference history bar none.

That one is so good, it is tied for first with "Dubose over a brick."

Schnellenberger is a UK alum. Crazy that we missed out on that one.

And agree with Joker Phillips. Even though intentions were good, he just wasn't HC material.

Schnellenberger's easily the best football coach to come out of Kentucky. He moved around so much though. If he had stayed at Miami, he's a top 10 coach all-time.
