Beat South Carolina and Mississippi State (ranked when we played them)

I think Frazier will actually do pretty welly next year. It was already said, by all accounts, he looked night and day in spring from where he was last year.

No, Frazier can't get better. He will always suck

but we'll be much better than we were last year, especially on defense. I can see a top 25 finish for us.

Not to mention it was hard for him to get comfortable and get in a rhythm. I'm not saying the staff screwed up by not playing him more because it would be a TOUGH decision to mail in the season by starting a true freshman every game. But looking at it now it would have really helped to get him more playing time. He's barely more experienced now than he was at the start of last season.

A handcuffed freshman campaign behind a terrible OL told you this?

Actually many are just hoping he fails. Many know if he lives up to his hype, things will be good on the Plains.

I love Auburn as much as any other Aubie on here, but I don;t see any reason that we should be ranked pre-season. Way too many unknowns.

I agree with this. We do not deserve a preseason ranking.

It's a little different because LSU was really good last year. Auburn wasn't in the middle of a NC run.

I don't disagree with this. I think you could make a case for us to be ranked in the 22-25 area, but at the same time, I understand why we're not.

Uhm...Mett is the best QB of all time and didn't start because it would have been absolutely unfair...? +

Question, how much does it hurt a team that has a NC caliber season that starts out being ranked really low or even unranked?

Oh no, you can say it. They screwed the pooch last year in the whole "development of Frazier" plan

Oh well...I expect Auburn to end up somewhere in the top20 by the end of the year.

Ask our 2004 team.

I was really young but I remember them being SO GOOD. I wish I could go back and experience that season again. The crazy part to me is they weren't just a good "team"...like Boise State. They had stud players and NFL talent leading them. Did TD go crazy when the final poles came out?

You would have to ask one of the TD Forefathers...

I imagine they didn't care that much
