Tell me exactly what it is I've posted that you take issue with so we can explore further the merit of your observations.

Why don't you go look and see who initiated contact with who in this thread. Jesus, now I'm starting to see why Bama fans dislike you guys so much.

I honestly wish I knew the LSU faithful's outlook on their 2009 campaign after a similar NC hangover outing they had in 2008.

My post wasn't a flame. It was an honest guess at why AU will probably be unranked going into the fall.

And we were very positive because of JJ's performance in the bowl game, only to discover his tendency to play good in exactly two games a season.

I remember this one time Auburn played Arkansas and this qb named Frazier, man oh man. Literally every pass he threw was an interception. 0-2, 2 int's.

He the starter this year?

Kid had some major mechanical flaws. It will be interesting to see how much progress was made, in order to clean up his throwing motion.

Malzahn was the reason Frazier went to AU, the kid was from Shiloh where they still run the Gus offense. It will be interesting to see if he gels with the new OC, but a lot of people expect Frazier to transfer to Arkansas State if things don't work out at AU this year.

Yeah, I watched a few of his games on TV at Shiloh, then his highlight tape. He reminds me of Tebow in a sense that he's doesn't have the makeup of a great QB. He is a football player though. Tebow is a great football player, and that's the same mold I can see Frazier coming from.

Sweet fvck this thread is genius

New DC? Upgrade

Young OL? We return all but one starter and have better talent behind it plus the most important(the center) has a full year of experience and full year in a college weight room

Frazier transferring to Ark State? Dyer did it so obviously Frazier likes spice and will rob sh!t right?

Fwiw, Frazier has actually said he likes this offense better and knows it better at this point than he did Malzahns. Could be posturing, but I'll take his word for it.

The kids got a great head on his shoulders, which gives me some confidence he'll be allright. If he was am idiot, I'd be worried, but he's not. He's a really sharp kid.

And his mechanics looked really good this spring.

there are only so many votes
and several SEC teams were voted into the top 11, and Florida is in the 18-22 range in most polls.

lots of good teams in the 18-25 range.

in a couple of months, we will see the matrix of all polls.
you will observe Aubie then... perhaps just outside the top 25.

Like the man said, beat Clem. It gets addressed on the field of play.

A young OL in front won't make that easy..

That's my biggest fear. I believe KF (if declared starter) has playmaking ability, but it will be extremely tough if he doesn't have time. The WR corp should be a the teams biggest strength with exception of the DL.

Auburn probably 4th in the West. Will lose one game to somebody else. That would be 4 losses. 4 loss teams don't get a whole lot of preseason love.

And here you are again. Saying the same thing again. When Auburn did something LSU hasn't done in 50 years. Not lose a game.

LSU owns auburn in every historical category there is. Chizik is a defensive coach. Auburn's defenses have sucked every single year he has been there. Les miles is a offensive coach. 4 out of the top 5 RUSHING AND PASSING( has nothing to do with st or def Tds, you idiot) are Miles coached teams.

This thread is about the 2012 season, not the 2011 season. And "riding on the wave of the championship" typically happens the year after you actually win a National Championship...

Did you actually read the initial post?

quote:

Finished 25 in the BCS after killing UVA in their bowl game, upgraded tremendously at defensive coordinator, return a lot of talent on a team two years removed from a National Championship.. I don't get it with some of the teams ranked above them..

It appears that he was suggesting that one of the reasons he feels that they are being overlooked in the preseason poll is because of how they finished last year in the polls.

So that was what I was addressing. My point still stands.

quote:

Auburn shouldn't have been in the top 25 all year last year. It was a joke each week that they were even ranked. They were riding on the wave of their national championship.

And btw...last year was the year after they won a NC, so your argument is invalid.
