Georgia isn't AAU? That's actually surprising since they spend a lot on research. AAU is a bit of a joke overall, but once you get it you want to keep it.

They aren't, but Georgia Tech is though.

Mississippi is the most hated state in the union because of the pervading liberal agenda. This hate extends to both MSU and OM. The ones that hate us, actually know the least about us. The poll is based solely on demographics and political and religious worldview. What they don't realize is that MS is a lot less conservative than they're aware of, but they are too ignorant to open their eyes. These rankings are complete trash conducted by the same type of people that voted for Obama, not once, but twice. Look at the top 10 schools listed. That's all you need to know to discount this poll.

so...I'm from Arkansas, so I'm a little slow, but you tell me which is better, assuming in general most Georgia grads work in Georgia and most Arkansas grads work in Arkansas?

A Georgia degree which you pay $10,262/yr for and a mid-career salary of $79,400/yr

OR

An Arkansas degree which I pay $7,818/yr for and a mid-career salary of $83,600/yr

By the way...I'll throw in that Georgia's cost of living is higher than Arkansas's

At least Arkansas and LSU represent well in overall athletics. Neither MS school has even won a single NCAA title.

Fourteen community colleges are part of the space grant program. It really is quite a distinction.

Want to tell them, hey MFer remember I am a dumb arse, right? Bite on this tongue depressor while I go check on that dumb Louisiana citizen with major health issues like a hang nail

IIRC, there's only 13 Space, Sea, & Land grant universities. I doubt community colleges fall in that grouping.

LSU was also the only public university with 2 Truman Scholars last year. However, carry on
