If your school isn't in the top 50 should you really be starting a flame thread? Vandy and UF really should have been the ones to start this.

If the SEC wants to enhance their academic reputation, they should kick Georgia out and add Georgia Tech.

Tech also has a more recent national championship in football and the SEC is all about national championships

I like how you edited Texas A&M out of this, considering they are ranked BENEATH UGA. Flame on.

Graduation should be a requirement as well. No Gator fan that graduated from Northwest Gainesville CC should be talking shite about how great UF is.

The List is BS.

The University of Miami is ranked 47 over UF, Ut-Austin, UMaryland, Etc.. which is basically a joke.

Clemson should never be ranked same as UPittsburgh and UMaryland. Clemson should not even be ranked in the top 80.

aTM and Purdue should be higher.

Also Kentucky and LSU should be ranked in the top 100.

These rankings can be manipulated easily. According to USA today Clemson is accused of manipulating their rankings:

There is no way Clemson should be ranked as high as it is.

Look at the states they represent. Large land grant universities like the SEC members tend to be generally reflect the priorities & educational development of the states in which they are located. The SEC West represents some of the poorest, worst educated, and least progressive states in the country.

Do these schools have anything going for them? I mean I understand letting LSU's and UK's academic mediocrity slip by since they bring around quality programs, but how are these places bottom of the list in academics and athletics?

All I saw was

5. BAMA
6. AUBURN

We both take our football serious and it seems we are both pretty good at educating people too.

Here's to our uglier brothers
