You got to talk last year when you choked away that lead. I remember you talked after failing to pass LSUs 25 yard line. You need to publish the rules again.

There is a thread pretty much identical to this one on the first page. What happened to the rematch sticky thread?

Do you guys really not get tired of repeating this same shite over and over? It's insane.

In 2007 we had a win over a top 5 Va Tech team, top 15 Florida and Tennesse and top 25 Auburn.

Name me your good wins. This isnt hard.

Keep responding in vague answers that only you think are funny.

Everyone else in this thread knows its just a vindication we're right.

This thread is to get a simple answer on why Bama is for sure the second best team. What on their resume besides a loss to LSU shows that they are good?

Media loves them. On paper they are no better than 4th or 5th

Had we lost to LSU by a wider margin, and struggled to beat the rest of our schedule in dominating fashion there would be a very strong argument for other programs to play in New Orleans. However, Alabama did lose a close, hard fought game to LSU. Alabama did beat five common opponents by virtually identical scores, in virtually identical dominating fashion. While the OOC schedule was not as tough as LSU's, Alabama has scheduled more consistently tough opponents in OOC games that anyone in the SEC. I would hope they would get the benefit of the doubt, considering all other things. With all that said, I hope LSU fans realize how awful their 2012 OOC schedule is.

LSU and Bama have nearly identical schedules. If our schedule is "weak", so is yours.

So your argument once again is you lost to LSU. You beat the mediocre teams that LSU and then pop off that you should get a rematch because you lost to LSU. I dont care about next year I care about this year. You dont have that good of a resume. Just come out and say it.

Both Alabama and LSU have destroyed every opponenet they have played other than when they played each other. LSU won the game, but no one walked away feeling that either team was that much better than the other.

But you are asking the wrong question and your question is directed at the wrong fan base. You should be asking Orgeon, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma why they could not take care of business and prevent this from happening.

Alabama has played the schedule in front of them
just like the other teams have. I can't explain to you why they deserve a shot. I just simply know they have one. That's it.

How can you argue that the reason you have "earned" a trip to play LSU is that LSU beat you? That's so illogical.

Our common opponents were pretty damned bad. Other than Arkansas you cant really make an argument for a good common opponent win.

This is 2011, not 1995.

We beat the shite out of our scheduled opponents, outside of one game. I don't know what else we have to prove in your eyes. I guess it just doesn't matter in this instance that Alabama went 11-1 through the SEC.

What? Okie state has the same amount of losses that you have but have some decent wins. Where are yours?

You're goddamn right it doesn't matter, because Oklahoma State has a more impressive resume.

Bama might be the second best team in the country but the SEC is definitely down IMO
