I guess nearly identical wins in five games this year, by both, isn't at least some indication that Alabama should be considered.

bullshite. We played Oregon and West Virginia out of conference. Both of who are strong favorites to win their conferences. We have our quality wins. Plus outside of Arky no SEC really jumps out besides yall on our schedule and we beat yall.

Nope. LSU's and Bama's schedules were pathetic. Neither of us deserve a shot. Well, unless you count that LSU's win over the powerhouse that is WVU.

Past reputation has no bearing on this season. Florida sounds like a nice win but they are terrible this year. Same for Tenn. Would you really pick either of those to beat baylor or K state? I wouldnt.
