LSU's schedule was easily twice as hard as Bama's and anyone with a football IQ will confirm this.

LSU played an FCS team, Bama played an FCS team
LSU played a sunbelt team, Bama played a sunbelt team
LSU played @WVU, Bama played @PSU
SEC opponents were mostly common and the stats are damn near identical

The only difference between the 2 is you played Oregon. One game does not make a schedule 2x harder, certainly not against a choker like UO

We are supposed to be comparing wins here. Try to keep up. We also beat yall. Id say yall are without question top 5 and based of eye test easily number 2. So yeah adding Oregon and Bama to the resume helps a hell of a lot.

We were comparing schedules, and if you could read, you would have seen that.

He said schedules but looking at context clues he was talking about wins. Also the topic of the thread is comparing wins.

I thought we were comparing Bama and OSU wins, not Bama and LSU wins?

We don't need to worry about strength of schedule, we're undefeated. We could have played 12 Big East teams and we'd still be here.

THANK YOU.
And a thank you to the Bama fan who finally posted the wins.
IF oklahoma state wins they will have more wins over voter determined top 25 teams and both of bama's quality wins will have gotten blown out in their respective season ending games. Bama is currently just sitting on a hype machine. They are in no way any more proven to be number two than Michigan in 2006.

I would rather play bama. Im sick of the gumps and want to shut them up. I think our team is better than when we played bama before. However if you look at the resumes and what each team has done to earn it Bama doesnt really stand out.

Once again Alabama played the schedule in front of them and they lost to LSU. Oklahoma State played the schedule in front of them and lost to Iowa State. Your reasoning behind why Oklahoma State a better chance could take for ever. We'll have to look who Ok State played, and who those teams played, and who those teams played, and who thos teams played to determine how good those teams actually were.

Hell Arkansas was just ranked #3 in the country. That means they were just considered by your logic the third best team in the country and they god killed by LSU and Alabama in the same manner.

Bottom line as an objective football fan I can make a better arguement for Alabama's one loss than I can for Oklahoma State's. That's it.

I dont think anyone has denied that bama looks the part. I just simply presented a question of who have you beaten to deserve that ranking and no one could answer for four pages. It would seem a simple enough question

Well of course they haven't played our exact schedule, but come on man....have you followed football for very long? Can you not recognize a great team when you see it? I'm a Tiger fan and I'll be one of the first to say that I'd love to beat their arse again to prove a point, and I think we will. But you have to respect this Bama team as a powerhouse this year because they are, there's just no way to dispute that.

Well, they've dominated the LSU fabases ability to talk about any other team. That might be their biggest victory this year...or Arky. Tough call.

Alabama beat LSU in many statistics during the LSU-Alabama game. Unfortunately for LSU fans, Alabama fans can piggyback on your success by having beaten you in almost everything but the score.

Love it or hate it, that's what people, when comparing Alabama to OSU, think about. That and the fact that OSU lost to a shitty 6-6 team, despite having beaten other ones that had better records.

Why are you comparing LSU vs Bama's schedule? We we are the undefeated SEC west champ. You are not.

The SEC was very weak this year. Weakest I have seen in years. That is why the computers have OSU ahead of Bama. If not for the media love fest with Bama you would be screwed.

If we beat UGA in the SCE CG we will have a much better schedule with more impressive wins FWIW.

Bama you don't deserve it!

What have they done to earn a shot in the BCS NC besides lose to the number 1 team?

Be ranked #2 in the BCS. Thats all it takes.

What are you, stupid?

I don't want to sit here and say bama deserves a rematch, because by all means, no one should. But has anyone else stepped up to the plate this season? If Ok St beats oklahoma by a lot, then they'd be the only team to make a real argument IMO. Other than that, Bama is the best team out there to go to the national championship game judging by this season.

R Kansas sucks.. Like Bama are ranked way higher than they should be. They beat no ranked teams. Not one! Schedule was horrible and nearly lost to Vandy. Don't hang your hat on R Kansas.

But you're not a voter. So this whole thread and the other 30 threads similar this one that will be made are pointless.

Exactly!!! We play under BCS rules, they pic the #1 team to play #2 in the championship game. Just so happens that those 2 teams are in the SEC West this year, deal with it and win the fricking game.

I only counted 4 for OSU, which would make this not a fact imho

Most of the voters that I have seen interviewed have said this as their justification for voting Alabama in. They have said that they are going to put #1 vs #2, and that in their minds, Alabama is #2 based on the way they have played all season and the only blemish being to LSU.

I say this, because I actually found a list of Harris Voters, googled their names, and for the voters that were not in the SEC's geographical region, looked to see which ones published their votes and the reasons for the votes.

Most of them have said that they disregarded rankings, and looked at stats and quality of teams to determine which teams they thought looked the best.

Have you done that?
