Actually not all "rednecks" talk about hunting, camo, trucks with pipes, or taking dips. Because they have or do those things does not predispose them to unintelligent conversation.
In my experience, I would much rather be around those that don't put parameters on the people they find acceptable. They seem to have more of an open mind and capable of original thought.

Damn man. I'm technically an ag student and I have yet to meet anyone even resembling the duck dynasty crew.

My point from the beginning has been I don't like the things rednecks usually like, which is why I can't stand being at a University with it's fair share of rednecks. Nothing against the people, just what they like.
