Stupidest thing I ever did was steal cigarettes from the old man in the uniform shop in boot camp for the US Coast Guard back in 2012.
He had them sitting on a table while they were issuing our uniforms. I grabbed a couple while nobody was looking, kept them hidden, and smoked them while I was on...

Im a cloud architect and coding scripts is just a small part of my job. AI still isnt as good as a human at coding.
ChatGPT and Copilot really suck at Microsoft Graph and other Microsoft powershell modules.
Both constantly make up fake cmdlets that don't exist. I only use AI to help me with ...

I wish I wouldve taken Meteorology at Miss State.
I'm a cloud infrastructure engineer and I'm completely burned out working in IT. I make more money than almost all meteorologists, but it sucks sitting at a desk everyday working on cloud insfrastructure from home....

Solar flare only hits on daylight side of Earth and that wouldve been centered over India at the initial time of the outage.
The less fun, more likely culprit of this was a misconfiguration by a network engineer. 2nd most likely cause would be cyber attack.
