I wouldn't call LSU's fanbase "rednecks," we're a different sect of lower class.

The word to describe that around where I live (Central Louisiana) is "Threg".

at uga games i am pretty sure very few of the attendees went to uga...big bellied rednecks acting like they are vince lombardi and the yapping never stops. that and the drunk sorority girls passing out in the aisles during the september games.

I don't know about the most redneck fanbase, probably a solid tie between tamu, bama and Arkansas. But i do know the biggest guido fanbase is LSU.
