Talking about it around you, and directly trying to converse with you about it are two wholly different things. I don't care for soccer, but some of the people that enjoy and participate in 
really like soccer. I don't mind them discussing it. It's understandable.
And fwiw, I'm just drunk and not going to the bar tonight and needed something to keep me entertained.

I am not either, the Golden Triangle is formed connecting Cincinnati / Louisville / Lexington. Not only does that cover a big swath of the state it contains a vast majority of the population of the state. Hillbillies are not only a vast minority of the state, they only occupy a small percentage of the land mass of the state. Much of the rest of the state is gently sloping agricultural farmland. Much like saying the hill country of east TN accurately describes the topography of the rest of the state.

Coke is the name for Cola/soft drinks.

Dude I hunt and I get tired of the belligerent hunting conversations I get drawn into. Most of the people talking in these either don't know WTF they're talking about, or have no regard for animal life or sense of decency. Very easy way to get me to leave a conversation is to talk about killing things just for the fun of killing.

If you want Real Southern Cred you call everything coke. At a restaurant you either get coke or tea. And tea is assumed to be sweet.
