wouldn't expect it to happen but Gus's offense would fit right into the all offense, no defense Big 12.

I think he'd be on the short list.

I have a feeling Clemson will be feeling the effects of that loss this season.

I don't know what happened to Leach. Pullman must have taken his fire away. They lost to Portland fricking State.

Wouldn't Kiffin's record as a head coach be a deal breaker though?

In years past perhaps so. With 2 - 3 years of learning from Saban, I'm thinking someone is getting a fine Head Coach. i got to believe people grow and learn. Kiffin is learning from the best.

His post-game interview yesterday was one of the most pathetic spectacles I've ever not vomited through.

Tremendous strategic blunder not to go after Briles once Saban was a no. Briles at Texas...that would be something.

Oh good, I couldn't find ShaggyBevo last night and I hadn't realized they changed the name.

Not to be a smartass, but have you forgotten what has happened to every place Kiffin has been the HC at? He may be a great/creative play caller, but other than that has no business being a HC.

Not sure, but I doubt it's Bielema.

Eta: in all fairness, I should point out that this is one sip's list; the rest call him out pretty vehemently on it.

Yea, I'm not buying that at all. No way they value Malzahn that much.

The hiring of Charlie Strong was a shite show from the beginning. Knowing that you don't have the support from one of the BIGGEST donors says a lot about a program and their consistency.

Now, what would be interesting if Texas not only went after an SEC coach, but entering the SEC itself. They could bring a lot to the table.

I don't disagree, but again if Texas can't make a homerun top 5-10 coach hire, Kiffin is a great offensive mind and can carry over things that Saban does at Bama. I'm not saying it'd win Texas titles, but I'm saying I can see that hire happening.

Chad Morris if he continues to coach like he did the other night. They'll do well to hire that guy if he's as good as advertised.

I think it's more likely Morris is going to wait it out for the A&M job than him ending up at Texas.

Given Texas inability to score for what seems like several years I'm sure they'd love to throw the bank and Gus and have Muschamp return with him. They might even be willing to pay him ridiculous money but I don't see Gus leaving Auburn to walk into that pile of shite at Texas.

They say they want nothing to do with "Rapey" Briles.

I'm telling you, they're delusional.
And the program is going tits up.
We (Ags) told y'all (tSECranters) that Strong would bomb there as a hire.
He's been struggling since before day one, just to get a spot on their list of possible interviews.
Once everyone else said, "thanks, but no thanks," he fell into the gig by default.
And he's been the worst fit there since ... ever?

The questions now are: How long will they keep him, and how much damage will he do in the meantime?
