I agree with the original poster, they will always be the rebels to me because for 25 years prior I had watched em that was what they were.
Same thing here in North Louisiana ULM Warharks that used to be the NLU Indians and was changed for the same politically correct reasons. They will always NLU to me.

I did not make it up. I live in Oxford. I talk to coaches and players from time to time and other media personalities. I live in the neighborhood as neighbors to several! I did NOT make up one thing.

Tuberville is not a revered memory at OM, but he is also not a hated remembrance....just a" par for the course" kind of interim experience 'til we got back on our feet after probation.
