What connection does he have with Auburn and what has he said that proved to be true?

Not doubting him, but you got to really question the powers at Auburn, if they got one of us getting and spreading all their dirty laundry from the inside.

But, it was all over sports talk radio in Montgomery on both the morning and lunch time shows and there were lots of comments that something is going wrong on the Plains.

Sports talk radio shows are well known for their accuracy and calm reflection of the facts.

Who in their right mind would want to come there to coach when they know they will be beaten instate in recruiting now and then trounced soundly on the field by the same arch-rival now for as long as Saban is at Alabama - if the Tide doesn't have NCAA sanctions?

It is getting towards crunch time for recruiting so why not cause a stir over things that happen all the time. I personally don't think it is more then coaches leaving and a kid decommitting and getting blown out of proportion. What do I know I have no inside info nor do I belong to any premium sites?

I would not be surprised in the least if/when a couple of more prospects de-commit.

It often happens during coaching turnovers.

Then, of course, the pro-Bama media in the state will yet again go into overdrive about how Auburn is doomed and Bama will once again reassert their eternal inheritance of dominance over the Auburn program.

But they won't.

Rinse and repeat over and over and over and over and over again.

I want LSU to beat them every year, but a strong Auburn helps to counterbalance Alabama in the SEC West and makes things more interesting overall.

It stuns and amazes me over and over again that more LSU fans don't see this.

Auburn will always get bad PR in our state. Fair or not, it's just the way it works.

This is why Chizik better get off his rear and hire some coaches or his recruiting class may implode. The negative media and recruiting is starting to reach your recruits.

They don't have a way to get out in front of the story. I don't even think they have a journalism department. We have media who went to Alabama all over the state and the rest play to the majority UA fanbase to keep their jobs or get ratings like finebaum.

Actually Auburn does have a journalism department. But, for all the good they do Auburn, they may as well not even exist. Auburn journalism grads tend to be reflexively anti-Auburn (perfect example: Selena Roberts). And most of the time they move out-of-state anyway. Bama journalism grads? Like our buddy Harvey, the majority of them are just too full of Bama.

Has BAMMER hired there OC... This is a dead period, he is working on it...He needs someone by bowl season... Auburn always loses some in the end and then typically has a surprise at the end (silent committments). Has been that way for ever... Their is a pattern of a mole being placed by Bama, in the end they end up at Bama.

We had one. I don't have any 1st or even 2nd hand knowledge of what happened but the running story is that Lowder didn't care for some of the things that were coming out of there about him and had it shut down.

Yes, that is the running story.

It is, of course, not true.

Ok. You got me. I'm just taking specific, detailed wild assed guesses at it. Making this shite up as I go.

Get a clue, bruh.

Maybe you should be a little more neutral in your story telling. Like how you presented the Stoops thing as Stoops having a problem with Chizik and turning Chizik down.

When it could have just as easily have been Chizik telling Stoops that he wanted Stoops to sign a contract of a minimum length of 2-years and that Chizik didn't want Stoops if he wouldn't commit to that term.

Right?

But you chose to "spin" it as Stoops rebuffing Chizik. Golly, what a surprise people may doubt the accuracy of your stories!

No, but we're playing in the BCSNC and we have the media on our side. Everyone beleives Saban runs everything anyway, so things don't seem near as unstable as they do at Auburn.

And you lost your OC for a low level job and fired your DC. Saban will hire a body to keep what he likes to do. Fat Freddie can be OC under Saban and everyone knows that.

Isn't he the one that claimed that Bama coaches knew of recruiting infractions with Therize (sp), but refused to turn them in?

I don't what the truth is, but I found it hard to believe as a Bama fan too.

I have noticed many Auburn fans back him up though.

Saban's record at LSU/Bama vs. Auburn is 5-5.

What he said sounds very plausible. Then again, a lot of that Cam Newton shite sounded plausible last year too.
