The Ole Miss D didn't lose the game Saturday night. Anyone who says otherwise is trolling.

It WAS a bold move to put the offense out to try and stop the LSU offense on that 4th quarter scoring drive. I think Freeze will have learned his lesson regarding those types of aggressive moves in the future.

And what part did the defense play in the missed chip shot fg?

Oh, you wanna brag about beating us 13-7 now. Go for it, bud. Ole Miss could have won as easily as LSU could have won by more. Let's try to keep this to a discussion about happened, not what could have happened.

Your coaches, players, and fans all did their jobs and it resulted in a big tiger victory. Enjoy it

Don't belittle it by claiming you deserved more.

Ha. I just think you are way oversimplifying it.

I think Doug Remer can explain it to you better.

According to most on the rant DV was NOT all that great and any team for that matter could empty out the stadium by half time!!!!!

If they were on the Ole Miss team, then they actually DID lose.

The last drive by you guys was great though.

Really, a 2 yard drive was great?

Itavius mathers had a 20 yard TD called back by a holding call.

If Hunter isn't held, that play is a 4 yard loss. Nice try.

I wouldn't agree with this. Ole Miss' offense really gave the game away.

That its hard to go undefeated in the SEC. LSU came up with an amazing gameplay and really kicked our arse. It will be interesting to see how we rebound against Auburn.

Giving the game away implies they had control of it in the first place. Ole Miss was never in control of that game, offensively or defensively.

In the second half we had great halftime adjustments and minus the one 95 yard drive we shut LSU down for the most part.

Minus the demoralizing, brutal 93 yards on 11 straight rushing plays at 8.4 YPC from our own 5 yard line?

The score should've been worse than 10-7 and everyone knows it. Your defense did absolutely nothing to stop the power running game.

You have an elite secondary and an average-to-good rush defense.

Is that a joke?

Never did you have control of that football game. We were down 7-3 at half but dominated on the field. Your offense did absolutely nothing and our offense ran it down your throat.

We had control of the game and almost gave it away with 4 turnovers and an easy missed FG. Not the other way around.

Ole Miss only gave up 10 points to LSU at night in DV

Yeah, but LSU lost 4 turnovers. A better way to paint the picture is 400+ yards against Ole Miss's D.

Hard to say which D is better when Ole Miss has not played State and Auburn yet. When they do and you factor in all the numbers from all the games, then you can say. To this point in the season, Ole Miss had played better D than us but we have been lights out lately against Kentucky and Ole Miss. So far their body of work has been better than ours. Good thing we got better as we couldn't have gotten much worse. Rebels can say what they want, Tigers O line and fullbacks had their front 7 riding roller skates most of the night. Turnovers kept the game tight and they still had a chance to beat us in the end.
