Given that the drive started at 11:06 and ended at 5:07 in the quarter, I am just going to argue that LSU had success on the ground in the 4th quarter.

Basically OM was able to stop LSU's rushing game in the 3rd quarter. 3rd quarter was a punt fest for both teams. Other than that, I have no idea how a team can have 50% or so more TOP, and not start scoring at will at some point. It was likely about to get ugly. OM was clearly down to third string and gassed, and LSU was starting to pound it. A win is a win. Anything beyond that would have just been mop up points. OM was physically exhausted.

The OM D really couldn't catch a break. Nobody is really talking about it, but LSU's D kept the OM D on the field the entire game. LSU played lights out on that side of the ball. LSU also made a bunch of mistakes that really kept the game close. They missed a chip shot, shanked a punt, dropped 3 pics, and really didn't look good at all passing the football.

You also have to credit OM's punter. That dude kept LSU pinned all night. There was never a short field all night. OM did a great job of keeping the game close and giving them a chance to win it in the end.

LSU came up with an amazing gameplay and really kicked our arse.

Actually, LSU's gameplay was surprising simple. The entire country knew what LSU was going to do, but it was just physics.

Ole Miss only gave up 10 points to LSU at night in DV They're still really good

Damn straight. Still think they're the best overall, considering yardage and scoring against pretty stiff competition. LSU would have run over just about any college defense on Saturday night. OM was subbing their DL on nearly every down in the fourth quarter and still couldn't stem the tide(no pun intended 'Bama fans). And yes the LSU turnovers kept the game close but turnovers are part of the game and they were created by that great defense for the most part.(Jennings did have one, Mettenbergeresque moment). If the Tigers run for 200 yards against 'Bama's defense, hopefully folks will understand that OM's problems were the result of a very young team of Tiger's coming of age before our eyes. This is not the same team that struggled defensively against MSU and AU, not that they would win rematches by any means. AU played lights out on the Plains and Dakota is the MAN in the SEC this season.

Or Ole Miss had a bad game while only giving up 10 points? Teams are still allowed to have those right?

Yeah, LSU had two, good luck
