Huh? Your guy stepped out of bounds, and you scored on that drive anyway.

LSU came right at our weakness the whole game and managed 10 points. You had the best matchup possible and you scored twice. Our defense was on the field for 38 minutes and got scored on twice so now they're overrated

264 yards rushing when your average coming into game was 97.

And you KNEW what we were gonna do and we still averaged 4.7ypc.

Again, if LSU doesn't turn ball over its ugly.

I answered the OP and how you handle the Ole Miss D.

Will Arkansas test them with its running game?

I'm just trying to gauge how stupid one has to be to say we had two touchdowns "called back" when it wasn't "called back" and you scored a touchdown on that drive. My conclusion is you have to be pretty stupid. The evidence is that you didn't even get the point.

Yeah it should be another good test.

In reality this game should have been 24-7 LSU or 24-0 LSU! Your D is not physical and your O has no running game!

In reality the game was 10-7. You fumbled because we forced you to fumble. It's what our team does.

We can draw the same conclusion I've been preaching all year. They are very talented, especially in the secondary, but the DL isn't well coached. They look like they are lining up to get after the QB every single down, they don't defend the run. They don't drop DE's into zone to support zone blitzes, which is something SEC DE's almost have to be capable of.

They are still a very good defense, they are just weak in run defense. Unfortunately that's a spot you can't afford to be weak in. More balanced teams like AU will use that weakness to expose man coverage for their elite receivers. Bama would have done the same if Kiffin wasn't an oblivious OC.

I agree it could have been 17 for LSU... it also could have been 17 for us.

We had two TD's called back and didn't kick the field goal in the last seconds... obviously

You scored on one of these drives anyway.

And LSU should have had an INT on the other, not to mention the other two.

Wait... that's all LSU scored? And only won by 3? Because, from reading here, I'd swear LSU beat Ole Miss by 70 points.

The real question is how should one weight your moral victory when comparing the Ole Miss defense to Louisville's?

We moved the ball fine. The mistakes were the players' fault. Missed opportunities and miscues are costly in a closely played game.

We aren't weak against the run. We're weak against the power run. You're not gonna have 200 yards rushing unless you have the patience to run the ball up the middle 50 times or probably Dak Prescott. We're good at stopping the run Out of the spread.

I don't remember LSU having much success at all on the ground in the 3rd and 4th quarter until the very last drive.

Given that the drive started at 11:06 and ended at 5:07 in the quarter, I am just going to argue that LSU had success on the ground in the 4th quarter.

Itavius mathers had a 20 yard TD called back by a holding call.

I forgot we scored on the Walton catch too.
