I'm an LSU fan and I think ruining these kids' lives to have an advantage come November is stupid reasoning.

I want to kick the shite out of Bama when the whole team is on board.

Pathetic homer spin, dude. Hill was convicted of a sexual crime against a 14 year old girl. He then violated his probation and committed a violent crime. What exactly did he learn from the court system after his first conviction?

As I said earlier, Hill lost a full year of football while he and his family hired a high $$$ lawyer to keep his arse out of jail. He did not sign a letter of intent with anyone. Received 2 yrs probation for a consensual act plus other community service time. After he cleared his way he was allowed to sign a letter of intent the following season.

A yr and a half later he sucker punched a drunk heckler who was in a fight with someone else and received another two yrs probation and more counselling. The sucker punch would probably not even drawn a charge but the fact that he was an LSU player and was on probation. He went before the judge who gave him one last chance or he would go to jail.

And you are telling me that he "got off". Tell when Cam finishes serving his 4 yrs of probation and misses a year and a half of football.

you don't have the offense to "kick the shite" out of anyone.

Much less the machine.

Were you upset when Jeremy Hill got off with a slap on the wrist? Did you celebrate when he was reinstated after the team vote? If so, you are no better than us bammers.

Hahaha hahaha. Wait, you're saying because he played for LSU he was punished more, even though by all measures he should have gone to jail? Cmon, dude. Like I said, that's comical.

I never said he got off, I said he didn't learn shite after his rape conviction. Which was what you were crying about in regards to the Bama players.

Well, he's in his 5th consecutive 6 year elected term. He's got 4 years left on this term, which he won as an unopposed candidate. I'd say after being in his current role in his current location for 26 years, the people who elect him either A) know exactly who he is and elect him b/c they agree with who he is, or B) haven't paid attention for 26 years and aren't going to start now.

Either way, he's 69 years old. I doubt he'll be in the role more than 4 more years.

If gumps studied important things as much as they studied a random DA involved in a case regarding a football player, they might not have the reputation they currently do.

Most people wouldn't have seen jail time in Hill's situation. His first incident was non-violent and he was charged with battery for the parking lot shite. Carnal knowledge and battery 2 years apart will never get you jail time. Even if you're on probation. More probation and a fine is appropro. What he should've been charged with is throwing a bitch punch.

eta: He wasn't charged with rape, Juice, and you know it.

They know the full personal and political history of a 70 year old DA in Monroe, LA, but they don't know facts about a a case they are using to justify their own hypocrisy. Go figure.

I honestly wouldn't care, I prefer to beat teams at their best so we don't have to deal with an offseason full of bitching and what ifs?

They got credit for sweat equity already you want them to reload the reserve?

I guess you didn't understand the entire sentence..I know it was kinda long.

I guess you didn't understand my comment. It is clear that sweating and conditioning drills in the heat was part of the reason charges were not filed in this case. My question is was the sweat equity earned during the summers while we were in the AC used up? Is that something they need to reload for a future get out of jail card? It is probably a good idea if they continue to do stupid stuff like this. I hope Bama coaches keep a log of how hot it was and what drills were run for the next DA.

I don't want a kids football Carre are to be ruined over a victimless crime........HOWEVER

If that was me or someone who did not play football the DA would have carried out prosocution. Unequal treatment for the taxpayers of that parish and Football players is NOT ok.

Agreed - I don't want some marginal kid who has been in a little trouble and not a football player life to be ruined either

Look at this board. Not all, but most Alabama fans since the decision came out have basically laughed heartedly at the decision and displayed symbolic uncomplimentary hand gestures laughing that nothing is going to get in their way of another title.
