Brando has openly disparaged the Auburn fan base as well. Let's be honest, he is an LSU guy, and most of the time I like him because he loathes Alabama.
Sometimes he goes after other LSU rivals with the same tenor as he does Alabama, and I didn't like that too much.

Also, Danielson is the best analyst in the business. Verne is the worst play-by-play IMO.
His favorite calls are OH NOOOOO (when a team gets a first down against Bama) and YEESSSSS (when bama gets a first down)
No sah. He LOVED Boise. I hated the BCS too, but I didn't have a hard on for the Broncos. As for Danielson I agree he is the best. As for Verne I agree he is the WORST PBP man. As for his love affair for Bama PAHLEEZE. The only love affair Verne has ever had was Tebow and Manziel .

Danielson knows his stuff. He seems to lean a little toward Bama some, but he leaned toward Florida when they were on their run, too.
Brando comes across as smug, arrogant, and as a wannabe elitist. He thinks that he's an influential person in the sports world. He may be to some extent, but not the extent he thinks.
His rug is horrible (and obvious), his laugh is obnoxious, his voice is fake, and his personal bias ("fly in the ointment") is usually about something that he's totally wrong on. Other than that he's fine.

I'm really amused at the Brando bashing with people calling him smug and while praising Gary as the best. Gery is so full of himself and his opinions its comical. The dude is a smug, know it all, second guessing arse. He is an older, less photogenic, cranky version of Jesse Palmer.

Did you start watching football this year? First, Jesse Palmer is a colossal douche, and provides very little insight. He simply repeats general consensus and plays up ESPN storylines. Second, Gary is the most knowledgeable color guy on TV, and you can truly learn a lot about football by listening to him. Third, Gary isn't cranky, never gets defensive when challenged, and by most accounts is a pretty decent dude.
