This is the dumbest thing I have ever read on the internet.

Danielson is good IMO.

At least he knows what he's talking about. He's pretty insightful.

As well as being wrong a ton! Verne is a joke. Maybe that's clouding my opinion of him.

Many locally know he is famous for playing the "do you know who you are talking to "card when trying to throw his weight around BR. A State Trooper friend heard that from him when he clocked Brando at 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. The Trooper responded with "you are talking to the guy who's going to take you to jail if you don't shut up". No loss to the college football world at all.

I hate these type people. It seems there's quite a few of them in the media who have swollen heads and use this card quite often. It's happened here in Bham to both a very good friend of mine and my wife from 2 different local news anchors. News flash: no one outside your viewing area has a freaking clue who you are and those within your viewing area aren't impressed with the fact that you can read a teleprompter.

Verne is ok, he has just gotten old. He is always professional and usually funny even today. He doesn't mind laughing at himself

Danielson is good. He doesn't take himself too seriously and is quick to admit it when he is wrong.

Brando is just a clown that pushes his own agenda 24/7

I like Blackledge, too. But if one will just sit down and watch a game that Danielson does and just pay attention to him and the information that he shares with you, I believe that you'll be very impressed. The guy knows his stuff and does an excellent job in sharing it with the audience.

I kind of enjoyed his radio show, at times. One thing I did find comical, he didn't suck saban off. He would also put the gumps, that called in, in their place quickly, when their gumpness started showing through. He called it like he saw it. I have watched the Boomer and whateverhisnameis show the last few days on CBSSN. I guess that show is an acquired taste.

Prefer Blackledge to Gary, but Gary's knowledge is not up for debate.

And that made the Gumps livid. He'll show up on ESPN somewhere. They all eventually do.

Speaking of "showing through", that inferiority complex is starting to raise its ugly little head.

Sometimes. Often times not.

Asking Verne if you can return a fg attempt after it's hit the upright, isn't good. Changing your mind 4 times during a replay, if a play was a fumble or not, isn't good. "Ohhh.. they're gonna bring that back. Wait, maybe not? That's clearly going to be overturned. Look at that, goodness. I don't see how that can be overturned. Oh my, I guess that's why they're being paid to officiate and not me."

And as far as Brando... I'm really surprised it didn't happen sooner. He knows basketball I suppose, but he was quite unprofessional and seemed lost when it came to football matters.
