Well, that's just a stupid statement. If enough games were played, it would certainly happen.

No, it's like asking if the high school all American team could beat Alabama. The answer is a resounding no

Actually, it's like asking if a high school all america team could beat Charlotte, or New Mexico State.

Don't think you understand how much of a difference in strength and speed there are between the two.

Even the 2001 Miami Hurricanes would get their crap pushed in, and a gump is actually arguing Bama would be able to avoid getting blown out Adorable really.

Not really.

The difference between the Browns and Alabama is much vaster then the difference between a bottom tier D 1 team and a team of all high school Americans.

There are 128 D 1 teams. There are only 32 NFL teams. There are 85 scholarship players plus dozens of walkons on each D 1 team. There are 53 players on NFL rosters. Full stop.

Every single player on an NFL roster, including the Browns, was one of the best players on their team in college. Alabama would have less then a 1% chance of winning that game.

Saban couldn't beat pro teams with pro talent. What makes you think he'd compete with pro teams using college talent?

They'd be up 50-0 at the half.

So 'dominated' that it took only 1 TD to win the game.

You could argue that Bama has some skill players that could compete (T Williams, R Foster, Ridley, Stewart), but this game would easily be won in the trenches by the Browns. The grown men on an NFL team (regardless of it being the worst team) would dominate the college kids on both sides of the line.

OP, no one in their right mind really thinks Bama could beat th Cleveland Browns... IDGAF, how bad they are right now or how good Bama looks... That's like Bama playing against a state champion level 6A team.. It would get UGLY really fast and players would get hurt..

Finebaum, come on man!!

For ratings, how the frick do people not understand what finbaum does at this point?

Plus he literally did the exact same thing for ratings four years ago.

The Cleveland Browns lost again on Sunday, dropping to 0-6 on the season.

And to make matters worse, SEC Network radio host Paul Finebaum now thinks that the Alabama Crimson Tide could beat the Browns.

Funny part is the Gumps believe that as well.

To be fair, he said several college teams could beat them right now.

That sounds less of an "Alabama is so awesome" and more of "Geez the Browns are freakin' terrible"

To be fair, every single starter on that team ended up on an NFL roster at some point I believe. I don't believe for a second that Bama would win, but I also don't believe we'd be blown out.

In 2012, everyone said yall would beat NFL teams. You then went into Tiger Stadium and took a last second screen to win, and then the following week lost at home to Texas A&M.

For those uniformed posters, Texas A&M is not an NFL team

Nevermind the Bama players mostly get eaten alive when they get to the NFL and we've seen Saban handle coaching there. But Pawl's gonna Pawl.
