To be fair, every single starter on that team ended up on an NFL roster at some point I believe. I don't believe for a second that Bama would win, but I also don't believe we'd be blown out.

To be fair, you're an idiot.

Well, that's just a stupid statement. If enough games were played, it would certainly happen.

No, no it wouldn't ever happen! Y'all do realize that most every player on every NFL team was the best on their college teams or were All Americans. They could play 1000 games and the NFL team would win them all!

Sorry... That group isn't getting blown out by the fricking Browns. And I'd bet that line of scrimmage and front 7 would have an advantage over the horse shite that the Browns trot out every Sunday.

Everyone on the Browns is an NFL starter and NFL ready, some veteran players. That entire 2011 team would be NFL rookies. They would get smoked

I always laugh at this kinda shite. The crappiest NFL team would drop 60 on Bama.

shite, you could assemble a team of Bama players currently in the league and beat the Browns by about 30 points.

Given no one has beaten the browns by more than 20, I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you

Actually, it's like asking if a high school all america team could beat Charlotte, or New Mexico State.

It's more like could IMG beat Missouri, and the answer is a resounding no fricking way

At some point you would have to think they would just mail it in and the best ever college team would get some flukevwin at some point. Like when App State beat Michigan or when LeBron James' multi-year undefeated streak got stopped when he was in high school.

I think 1/1000 is a reasonable estimate - its bound to happen at some point no matter how much better the talent is on the other side. And for probably the best example, Miracle on Ice game US had all college or yet to be pro kids with an average age of 21 or 22 and Soviets had an average age of like 27 or something like that. That was an all-star team but the best ever, or one of the top 10 ever college team playing enough games would probably sneak a few wins if they played enough times.

These threads are always an excuse for fans of inferior teams to poke at Alabama fans.

They know their teams can't compete with the Tide but it gives them some meager satisfaction to crow "Alabammer would lose by 50 to the Browns! HAHA dumb Bammer fans!" as if that somehow makes the dominance of Alabama over the last 8 years more bearable.

It's fine. I'm not the type of person to intentionally destroy someone's method of coping with soul-crushing inferiority.

Alabama would be competitive, after all they have a higher payroll and no salary cap...

The talent on the field on any of those teams, particularly the ones in which every single starter ended up on an NFL roster, would be enough to keep the Browns from "naming the score."

The 2016 Bama team would probably not score a single offensive point tbh.

Doesn't Bama have a freshman guard on offense? Imagine that poor kid against an NFL DT

No one ever learns. Paul is always fishing. One week we are a two loss team, the next we are winning a NFL division.

That's a lot of words to say you're insecure. No one is saying Bama isn't dominant in college football. The thought that they would stay on the field with any NFL team if a fricking joke though.

Alabama would lose 70-0.

Why do the same dumb topics keep reappearing.

So, 21 NFL players going against 53.

And the main reason why the pros are way ahead of the best college players is QB play and disciplined defenses. Line play is noticeably better in the pro game, but not nearly as drastic as fast defenses and precision passing by the quarterbacks. There's a reason why full-fledge Read Option and HUNH rarely works in the pros. The players know which gaps they own and rarely stray from that unless on a busted play. Like others say, it would be the Browns 50 & Bama 3. I'll give them a field goal.

You determine your own personal feelings of inferiority and competence based on college football?
