probably.... but the college allstars played the NFL champions for over 40 years. They won about 25% of the time. So it is not as far fetched as you may believe.

Despite what some of you want to believe, Alabama is not a CFB all-star team.

Jalen Hurts wouldn't be able to run around an NFL defense. He'd have to complete passes from the pocket, good luck.

Ill just have to defer to Vince Lombardi since it is an exercise in futility to continue this discussion...

"I don't know, we haven't played Alabama yet." – Vince Lombardi after being asked what it felt like to be the greatest football team in the world just after winning the '67 Super Bowl.

First of all he was most likely joking. Second of all, once again, the NFL is a lot different now than they were in the 40-50 years ago so I don't know why you keep bringing it up. Stop being a giant homer.

The worst NFL team would destroy the best college team.

Browns by 5 TDs

So is college football

If you were not such a slug you could read that i have already stated that the browns would probably win by 70

I simply pointed out that the only existing evidence for college vs pro teams ended in the mid 70's and with about a 25 % win percentage for college all stars vs superbowl champs

Impossible. First, in order to play the Cleveland Browns, Alabama would have had to participate in a player draft. If this were the case, no one knows who Alabama is. End of story. But even in reality, with the fantasy college Division I football system, Cleveland would wipe the field with Alabama.

If the stars aligned right who knows. If Hurts was an elite passer then maybe.

As great as the 2001. Miami team was and with all the future Otis on that team, they would have gotten destroyed by the worst NFL team that year. 60 points at least . This Bama team is not even close to as good as that 2001 Miami team.

If by "stars aligned" you mean the NFL team died in a bus crash on the way to the stadium then yes, who knows.

So what you're saying is not that Bama could beat the Browns, but by how much.

Crowell could run off tackle behind Joe Thomas for 500 yards and not break a sweat.

Alabama's skill players might be able to hold their own, but Hurts and the lines of scrimmage would get skullfricked. That's not a knock on Alabama, that's just the difference between college and the NFL.

There's a pretty big difference between making an NFL roster for a year or two and actually starting for a NFL team. The Browns would be badly beat Bama like Bama badly beats FCS teams. It's dumb this is actually being questioned.
