Of course they would. The Browns have RG3, Terelle Pryor, Corey Coleman, Gary Barnridge, Isaiah Crowell, etc etc.

The browns would treat the tide worse than the tide treated Tennessee. The dominance Cleveland would display would be more ridiculous than this ridiculous statement by finebaum

Jesus Christ. The Kentucky vs 76ers bullshite has made its way to football.

It's a fully fledged NFL team as opposed to an amateur semi-pro team sponsored by a university. There's no comparison, no matter how much people want to make one.

Yeah, finebaum is an idiot. People who say shite like that have no idea about football. Finebaum has never even played football but he has an opinion about everything...hes a fricking nerd. I would expect him of all people to say something so stupid. Cleveland would win easily against bama.

Paul is Stupid. People said this in 2012 when they were undefeated. They went into Tiger Stadium and were dominated for 28 minutes and 18 seconds of the second half

To be fair, every single starter on that team ended up on an NFL roster at some point I believe. I don't believe for a second that Bama would win, but I also don't believe we'd be blown out.

Most of y'all know he only said that to set Bama up to fail. Just like Spurrier a few years ago. Ultimate trolls.

Of course some will see that quote and claim Alabama and their fans think they can beat an NFL team. When y'all stop responding, these media trolls will stop. But this will lead College football daily for a week

Dude, yall would get blown out. It doesn't matter what you think, it would be real ugly real early and would get increasingly uglier until the the game ended. It's professional football players vs college football players...Idk how else to explain this to somebody. PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES VS COLLEGIATE ATHLETES. Grown men vs college kids. The most obvious mismatch would be seen at the line of scrimmage. As good as bama is at the line of scrimmage, they would get absolutely manhandled against a pro team. Let me put it this way...if cleveland wanted to, it could line up 10 offensive linemen and snap the ball to Crowell in the wildcat every fricking play and dominate bama. That's how bad the difference is in talent.

Bitch.

It'a everyone else saying this shite.

It's Paul Finebaum. It's fricking LSU fans starting threads about Bama being unbeatable.

It's not us. We're trying to temper it

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The Browns would beat Bama 50-0.

This and would very likely get a ton of their players severely injured. They would absolutely destroy that QB of Bamas.

So what you are saying is that if Bama played in the NFL they would be 16-0 and win the superbowl

Here is a bit of history from just before my time. The College all-star rookies vs the NFL Champion exhibition games.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is about the specific series played by the NFL champion against college all-stars in Chicago from 1934–1976. For other college all-star games, see List of college bowl games § All-Star games.

The Chicago Charities College All-Star Game was a preseason American football game played annually (except in 1974) from 1934 to 1976 between the National Football League champions and a team of star college seniors from the previous year. It was also known as the College All-Star Football Classic.[1] After the AFL-NFL Championship was introduced, including for the two seasons before the "Super Bowl" designation was officially adopted and the remaining two seasons before the NFL/AFL merger, the Super Bowl winner was the professional team involved, regardless of which league the team represented. Thus, the New York Jets played in the 1969 edition, although still an AFL team. The second game in 1935 involved the hometown Chicago Bears, runner-up in 1934, instead of the defending champion New York Giants.

The game was finally discontinued in the 70's after the NFL Champs won 12 consecutive. As the NFL salaries increased, the level of play did as well. The College All Star rookies didn't even have a chance.

I don't know why people think any college team could play with any NFL teams. The NFL surpassed colleges many decades ago, and I bet the gap is even wider today. I literally grind my teeth when I hear somebody say it. Here's the link if you want to see the results of the games that were played.LINK
