the original was copied and pasted by an Auburn person from Iowa and Nebraska message boards who thought for some bizarre reason that subsituting 'LSU' would make any sense at all.
Actually corndogs are a favorite in TEXAS at the Texas State Fair, and of course in CORN country in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, etc.
But in Louisiana, we have much more palatable tailgating fare and a plethora of famous restaurants.
I would think LSU fans would smell more like seafood, sweat, maybe some with bourbon.
But not corndogs. The Aubie who dreamed this up must have them for Sunday dinner in the trailer park.

It was reposted by a UGA fan in 2003. Then it was commandeered by an Auburn fan.

It's how myths are started. When the young folks get tired of the same old stories told by the old timers, they embellish the original story to make it more interesting - more 'up-to-date'.
But they don't truly become myths until all the old timers that actually remember the events die off.

In the mid-late 90s I posted on the two original boards that eventually merged to become the Tiger Lair. I left the board when it became a pay site. I posted on Wayne Duck's Auburn board. I posted on both UGA boards, one being the original 'Dawg Rant', the other I don't remember the name of.
I was around when Jesus Christ had his moment of doubt and pain.
I've been around for a long, long year. So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste.

I think 99.999% of yall are lying. The only reactions I have seen to the corndog thing is very positive from LSU fans. We make our own corndog signs, and I have seen multiple LSU fans eating corndogs at away games just to mess around in fun with the fans. How could it make anyone mad?

the corn-dog story is fiction, but what is fact...
Auburn's had two undefeated teams in the past 25 years and was denied the chance to play for the national title each time, I just wanted to remind you of that fact because well it's funny.
