It's just because he's too butthurt to say LSU is the best job. Get all the best croots to yourself plus you get to cherry pick them from Texas.

LSU having 3 nc appearances and two wins since Georgia's last nc is proof of this.

Inb4 we broke. Ask Leslie if he's broke ya filthy animals

Eta: UF also has a much better case than Georgia

I refuse to believe that anyone actually thinks uga is a better job than LSU

^^^this. UGA has excelled at mediocrity for so long folks have a bias based on observation. IMO we are exactly where UF was prior to SOS. The ingredients are all there, just need someone to bake the dam cake!

And just as many schools outside the state that recruit in Georgia if not more so.

It is better than the Alabama job.

Georgia won't fire their coach, if he doesn't compete for the national championship every single year.

It is only better because of location. It is a recruiting Mecca, but incompetency has acted as the great equalizer. UGA has been in the NC conversation once in 30 years, while schools around them have won it. Going with Smart is a risk for that trend to continue.

Georgia doesn't get to play the "we are nice and moral and not like all the other crazy SEC schools" card anymore. Sorry.

Mediocrity?Wasn't aware we were going 6-6 every year.
We finished in the top 10 8 outta of CMR's 15 years amd made it to the SECC once out of every three years. No doubt we underachied bur FAR from mediocre.

Same posistion as UF beford Spurrier?WTF?UF had ZERO
SECC's before Spurrier. We have 12 and currently rank 3rd all time.

Um because you fired a guy who averaged a 10-3 season, won 6 Eastern Titles and 2 SEC Titles, finished in the top 25 11 of 15 seasons, etc.

I think it was a good move, but you don't get to act like you just like having good men in charge and winning isn't as big a deal there as other crazy schools. And you hired mini Saban.

I mean, come on.

I don't see how anyone can say CMR underachieved yet shouldn't be replaced. Our entire 2013 D backfield starts for other teams now, and they were kicked off for things that don't get punished at other schools. I don't necessarily like it but it is what it is. That hasn't changed....so we are still morally superior to you low rents!!

What would concern me if I was a UGA fan, is the fact that they are the only program that has consistently had good QBs and RBs, but have nothing to show for it. The rest of the league has struggled at time with QBs, but UGA could not take advantage of deficiencies within the league.

The state Lt. Governor just said that he hopes a law passed to keep information under wraps for 90 days "helps Georgia win a national championship".

The glory days of bragging about your coach being a Christian and running a program different from the rest of the league is gone. You guys are all in now. Just accept it.

Now if the AG can stop charging players with felony weapons charges for shooting BB guns we'd be on to something.

Georgia has room for the biggest growth in Sec in next 5 years. I applaud them for making the change, I remember in early 2000s when they were hungry. UGA is a Big Problem for SEC EAST and SEC in general.

I don't think Sam Olens is prosecuting UGA football players for shooting BB guns.
