Did we all of a sudden change our drug testing policies?
Are we piling up medical hardships and running off players?

Are we accepting transfers that are kicked out of other schools?

So yea,I'd say we still have higher standards that make it more difficult to win.

Can pretty much guarantee Kirby will have something done within the next 24 months. You now get to hide information for basically the entire season, longer than anyone else in the conference, solely because Kirby randomly said something about it to a state representative.

Mind finding me examples of those at other places? Especially in the last 5 years.

It's been 1 recruiting class, give it a year or two.

You don't, and this weird subset of the Georgia fanbase that feels good about using that as an excuse for mediocrity is laughable.

You can't possibly believe this. Your own reply says "Kirby will change this or that". What needs changing if we are "all in" just like everyone else??

How so? Luck played a role in your 1st 2.

Typical classy coach speak. And still, some gump will still feel emotionally abused by it

I was crushed when he said that. I was just about to go drown myself in alcohol and drugs, but then I remembered Johnny Manziel and made the right decision.

Thanks, Aggies. You're always there for us.

You are all in now, post-Richt. By firing Richt and hiring Kirby you moved from the "moral high ground we care about more than winning" position to the "we want to be Alabama" position.

That's fine and well and I commend you guys for it, but just admit it.

do you not realize that a football team can be better than another, but still not be a better job?

Houston did better than we did last year, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who thinks houston is a better gig than uga.

There's no such thing as a better or worse job anymore. There's only a better or worse coach.

I agree with you about most of this but don't think Georgia will be willing to take the PR hit of walking back the drug policy as a University unless some kind of conference protocol is created.

I just gave 3 freakin EXAMPLES!Good God,our drug testing policies are written in the student/athlete handbook and they're NOT CHANGING and until they do we have higher standards than most in the SEC.And please, don't give some bullshite story about Kirby talking to some member of the legislature.

Exactly who have we accepted that got kicked out of other SEC schools? And I can promise we won't.

How many medical hardship cases did Bama use when Saban got there to clear off the roster?10,12?More than all the other SEC schools combined between '07 and '10.

I get it dude, you live in Ga and you are surronded by UGA fans so I get where the hate comes from.

And just as many schools outside the state that recruit in Georgia if not more so.

And those same schools also recruit in FL so your point is moot.

We didnt take a PR hit when we walked back some on it last time, so why would we next time?

I mean, it isn't bull shite, it's literally the truth from both the rep's mouth and Kirby's.

We'll see

Find me comments from kids who complained that they were run off. I'll wait.

Hate? I like Georgia, a lot. I love Athens. I don't hate UGA at all. I'm actually really fond of it. The hate here appears to be coming from your direction. Take some meds.

I agree for alot of schools. For example, Saban the last 9 years would have had the same success at:

LSU
UGA
UF
AU
A&M
and maybe Ole Miss

So what are UGA fans reactions to realizing they could have hired Saban?

Great recruiter.

Still gotta coach 'em (and manage all those egos) even after you sign 'em. You don't win 4 titles in 7 years without being a top coach, great recruiting or not...

Many of the 4* and 5* players are over rated. When these highly rated players are recruited some coaches are not recruiting based on if they can coach them. They recruit based on ratings, natural ability and talent. That is part of Butches problems in Tenn and it was Richts problem at Georgia.

Maybe for the top tier of schools but there certainly is a drop off
