We can be very loud because we are all into the game. Unlike many programs where big boosters bring wives that want to use the time as social hour to talk about debutant shite, everyone is tied into the game.
Yet unlike LSU, the loudness is not the priority (until the remodel). The whole experience is the priority, and its one of the best in college football.

This game will be loud, we suffer from the fact that most alumni sit on their arse and watch vs yelling which they leave up to the student section.
But for this one I anticipate it being loud.
One thing of note, is a few years ago they actually thought we would top the Guiness World Record for decibels. We didn't but shows what impartial people think.
In response to cardboard, I sit on the first deck 30 yard line West side (alumni) most Ags around me don't yell until 3rd down or goal line downs. So I disagree with you on Alumni being into it. Plus we have so many friggin Old dudes and their old arse wives.

It will get as loud this Saturday in their stadium as it will in tiger stadium when LSU plays Furman.

This will not end well for you.

Aj has played and excelled in some of the biggest and loudest stadiums in the country. He will be fine on Saturday.

Except in Tuscaloosa. The pressure gets to him.

I agree AJ will be fine, we'll be a nuisance but we won't have any outcome on the game.

AJ might be used to it, but the majority of their offensive line? Never played a meaningful snap in an SEC venue. Even mild noise will affect that ragtag bunch.

It's more of an English Premier League stadium if that makes any sense. They are big on singing and wrapping arms around another.
The fans that came though were pretty loud so I expect Kyle Field to be exceptionally loud.

It's fricking hot as one of the visitor's section faces directly into the sun the whole day. As well, that particular section is not curved by the endzone, as the stadium runs in a straight line from bout the 10 yr line on to the back of the endzone. Which means anyone in that section has to stand up the whole game just to see past the 50 yrd line.

Its pretty loud, but Tiger Stadium in BR is louder for sure.

I live about three and a half miles from Kyle Field and you can hear the noise in my back yard fairly regularly

There are a lot of places for the sound to escape. Thats the problem. If you are up in the zone, you won't hear it

The awful smell of the stadium is the sensory nightmare you should be worried about. Imagine a skunk eats a shite sandwich for lunch, and then sprays arse water all over the stadium concourses and concession stands. That's about one tenth of how bad it is, plus it's going to be really hot so that will make the smell even worse.

Well, TBH, loudness is all that counts. Synchronized cheers don't disrupt offenses. LSU has it right. On a Saturday night, you literally cannot hear. Some say LSU fans are stupid. I think they are just deaf from all the games in Tiger Stadium and can't understand what you are asking them.

I'd say the noise level (not intimidation level) is on par with a typical SEC stadium (i.e. Auburn, Tenn, etc.). It is NOT on LSU, UF, or Bama levels however.
I doubt that this
is as loud as this...

Here's the thing...
We have A LOT to prove in this game. We have been saddled for years with the "little brother" and the "always a bride's maid" tags and this single game is our chance to get into the driver's seat to changing it all for a while.
We won't change the tags for good because...idiots gonna idiot, but wrap your heads around this.
THIS GAME COULD BE THE FINAL CORNER WE HAVE TO TURN BEFORE PERMANENTLY CHANGING THE LANDSCAPE OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL IN TEXAS.
The fans know it. Former students know it. Current students know it. (The frickin' longhorns certainly know it. Take a gander at their arse hurt on shaggybevo or orangebloods. It's comedy gold).
So, practically everyone in attendance will know that this one game could be the turning point for the next 100 years of football? How do you think Kyle Field will be on Saturday, given these circumstances?
Now, that's all the serious you will get out of me. Back to sheep humping.

Well kinda.
When you think about it, the whole reason for the big event is the entertainment value. Our yells increase that for us.
