The awful smell of the stadium is the sensory nightmare you should be worried about. Imagine a skunk eats a shite sandwich for lunch, and then sprays arse water all over the stadium concourses and concession stands. That's about one tenth of how bad it is, plus it's going to be really hot so that will make the smell even worse.

Not loud, and the organized chanting is just cute really, not intimidating or anything that will affect play.

They're going to say "Beat the hell outta Bama" in unison a few dozen times. That's the pinnacle of the organized cheering. And only one part of the stadium does it, so again it's not very loud.

Well the Arkie game was definitely quiet last year considering it was at 11AM, in the rain, and we won by 48 points. Not much drama.

They have removed the bats from the North EZ so they are now only in the East Deck for the most part under the overhang. That will be fixed with the stadium rebuild.

"Instead of screaming and yelling, they yip, whoop and other odd noises that normally emit from one's arse and not their mouth."
----------------------------------------------
After reading numerous Aggie posts, I'm hard pressed to identify which is arse and which is mouth.

The real question is will it be loud enough to affect the communication on Alabama's O-line? If that becomes an issue, Alabama may be in trouble.

I've been on both fields in the heat of the moment. They are loud and it is like others have said: a lot of coordinated yipping and whooping.

I'd say the noise level (not intimidation level) is on par with a typical SEC stadium (i.e. Auburn, Tenn, etc.). It is NOT on LSU, UF, or Bama levels however.

90k people will be loud. Kyle Field is routinely listed and mentioned as a loud and intimidating venue. I won't be easy for AJ to call and make audibles, much like most venues in the SEC.

What? Its quiet compared to a LSU. We are more about coordinated "cheers" than pure noise. And that is one side, the alum sides are pretty quiet often as they are too polite.

We will fix it a little in the remodel.

They only have bats on the east side now. No worries.

OP - Aggies know how monumental this game is and they will be extremely loud.

It wasn't loud at the beginning of the game either.

I was there from '80-'84 and both my kids have gone there. With an opponent like Alabama and considering the importance of this game, it will be off the chart loud and McCarron will need to rely on hand signals/sign language on even remotely big plays. I remember nearly loosing my voice many times on Saturday and this will be bigger than any game I've attended. If there are any A&M students that get free tickets and don't give a shite about the game(hard to imagine), they would have sold them on StubHub by now for the kings ransom they can get for them.

Your O-Line has enough issues without noise being a factor..

I laughed!

...and it's fricking loud. Just like any major game with 90k+ people watching anywhere else in the country where there are football hungry fans. It will be very loud there Saturday. Believe that.
FWIW, I was at the A&M-Bama game last year and that stadium didn't really get that loud....not compared to some I've been to at Kyle Field....not saying it doesn't get loud there...just not that day....even when they were making a come back. I've also been to LSU...it compares to Kyle.

This is really what I'm getting at. Alabama's offensive line had significant communication problems in the Georgia Dome which ended up being more like a home game for Bama in terms of crowd noise. I can see those communication problems exacerbated in a loud hostile road game.

I have only been to one game at Kyle Field. I somehow ended up at the OU vs. A&M game in 2002 when OU was ranked #1 and A&M ended up beating them.

It was the loudest game I've ever been to in my life and I've been to a lot of LSU games over the years. Just my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.

AJ could flash different portions of his chest tat to communicate with his backs/receivers

Arkie game was in the rain at 11AM so yes it was quiet. Personally I enjoyed every bit of it though.

One other unique Kyle Field trait:
